“Not sure where all these great reviews come from. If you are planning a trip to Costa Rica, DO NOT STAY HERE! Having traveled the world extensively, I have never seen a bigger “all-inclusive” scam. Whereas the employees put on a face of happiness, it all disappears the first second any problem arrives. From not having the room we booked, to calling us liars about our Anniversary specially booked “Romantic Dinner”....until of course we showed them our confirmation. Oops! How did they fix this.....they didn’t, and our Anniversary dinner was in the cafeteria. Okay, so one problem....no biggie right! Well with all our excursions we were told our boys were old enough. Average excursion is $350 for four people. Then we get to the locations and are told we cannot go because our kids are too small....this is after the hotel assures us, and even loaded our kids into the van to go on the excursion. So 1.5 hour ride and nothing....so another 1.5 hours back. One might think a refund right? Think again, not in this scam land! All in all our week here was filled with problems, sub-standard food, and a “no-say” attitude. Not to mention the pools with missing tiles cutting people’s feet, and just filled with dirt and leaves. Definitely not what we were expecting for our Costa Rican vacation. Please, I implore you...Vacation time is limited for everyone, don’t waste yours here! Don’t believe me? look up Unlimited Vacations Company, who runs this.....Better Business Bureau warnings everywhere. I’m assuming the good reviews came from guests being given free massages for good reviews. Fortunately I can’t be bought, and you all should know the truth. Otherwise enjoy Costa Rica, just not here....”

“Very nice resort. It is in a great location and is pretty secluded. The pools are very big and relaxing. Everyone is very nice and friendly. The food was pretty good. The beach is nice, but not the best for swimming. Saw some monkeys and all sorts of tropical animals. Lots of things to do and the rooms are super nice.”
