“Good location, in the middle of everything. Short walk to the bus terminal, from where you can travel anywhere in Ålesund and the surrounding areas.
The hotel is clean, both in the rooms (when you arrive, as they don't clean during your stay) and in the reception and breakfast area. The beds are comfortable and the shower has a proper water pressure. The view from my room was also amazing (see pictures from my window). The staff is kind and helpful.
The breakfast is boring, especially after eating the same thing 4 days in a row. The food seemed old or not stored properly after being cooked, as it was dry and tasteless. The selection they offer is warm food (fried eggs with a 2cm piece of bacon on top, hard boiled eggs, some sausages that have a gummy texture and I noticed that no one was eating them, beans in tomato sauce and scrambled eggs), yoghurt bar and toppings for sandwiches. They also have a toaster, a waffle maker and they serve croissants that are also dried and hard.
Overall it was a good stay, but I will probably try another place next time I find myself in Ålesund.”

There is a huge public parking garage right next to it where you can leave your car overnight.”
