The most amazing all around stay. Beautiful location, incredible overwater villas, activities and amenities, awesome beaches, delicious food, and top notch service in all areas. From coordination upon arrival to every detail during our stay, they go above and beyond. A resort to return to as it feels like you are leaving family upon departure. I definitely recommend this place as it's money well spent for the best relaxation!

One of the best islands in Maldives, excellent service and beautiful scenery. Accessible only by seaplane.

There are some problems with the resort, which I will outline, but the spectacular setting leads me to rate this five star over four. Our over-water bungalow was the last one on the sunset side, #818, which gave good sunset views. We had our own infinity-edge pool as well as an outdoor shower. Our room was serviced twice a day. We stayed a week, which was plenty, because the food options are limited. There is the restaurant serving a buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as three other themed restaurants, one which was closed the week we were there. The Asian fusion restaurant was very good. The Mexican restaurant was OK, and the night we were there, even though it is in an outdoor setting, the air was choking with smoke from cigarettes and cigars. Likewise the buffet is somewhat open-air, but nearby smoking can be irritating. We ate at the open air bar most lunches and dinners, and the menu was good. There tended to be a good breeze there, so it was refreshing and not too smokey. We did two boat tours: a sunset dolphin tour which had copious sightings, and a manta ray snorkeling tour, also with good sightings. We didn't have a drop of rain the week we were there. Service overall was excellent. We celebrated a birthday and were surprised with decorations on the bed as well as fruit and wine. People I would like to single out are our host Nika, our room attendant Modex, as well as servers Shankar, Milon, Jau, Manu, and Rishab. Don't plan on wearing nice shoes, as you are literally walking in sand the entire time on the island. It seemed quiet and relaxing, exactly what we were looking for. Just as we found in French Polynesia, it is not a destination for foodies overall, though some options were very good.

Good Island Resort Perfect place to spend vacation time, relaxing and feels very calm and satisfying. There are a number of animals, fishes, live sea shells and coconuts falling from trees all over the Island. They have a few good activities, shrk feeding and their water sports team is amazing. Tried Scuba, the water was very clear and trainer was very supportive, we saw a large number of fishes and corals. Apart from diving you can snorkel all day. Just have to get the equipment and the water is shallow across the island so it feels safe with life jacket and you can see a lot of aquatic life all over the Island. The rooms are great, sea rooms or water villas are clean, has some service, and feel very good. Must visit.

I could write a novel about how much we loved our 6 night stay at Furaveri. Our first five nights were in a water villa, and it was so magical. The rooms were comfortable, clean, air conditioned, and I spent every morning snorkeling right down the stairs and in the crystal clear water from our villa. Our stay was managed throughout by a hostess, Renaliza, who stayed in contact via WhatsApp and was always available to help me book spa treatments, answer questions, and help iron out the whole COVID testing process up on our return. Our last night was spent in a beachside villa with a private pool, and *WOW* I kind of wish we’d stayed there the entire time! Absolutely pristine and private location with timely room service and regular excellent cleaning. We have so much to say about the amazing food experiences and the staff! We are really glad we got the premium all exclusive package, as it gave us the opportunity to eat and drink to our heart’s content and experience so much of the wide variety of culinary opportunities. We had most of our meals in the Jaafaiy restaurant eating buffet style. I really loved trying lots of new tropical fruits! Manu and Mriyana were often our table hostesses, and they were really warm and welcoming. We spent a lot of our time enjoying drinks at Udhares Bar, and really appreciated having access to their all-day snack menu - the hamburgers and samosas were delicious! Rohit, our daytime bartender, became a welcome sight for us and was always down for a great conversation or to share a favorite drink recipe of his. We will miss his warmth and kindness. Krishna, Appu, Kumar, and Milon were also among our favorite bartenders throughout the rest of the day - ask Krishna to do some card tricks for you! Amigos @ Furamathi, the Mexican restaurant located at the end of the pier along the water villas, was also a favorite stop. They had great nachos and our bartenders Rakesh and Him were always ready to serve our regular drinks! I had an ethereal experience in the Wellness Village - Fitri, my massage therapist, gave me an amazing traditional Balinese massage as well as an amazing deep cleaning facial. She was so great and those were some of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the snorkeling experiences as well! I joined the sea turtle snorkeling boat trip with Ayash and his team from the water sports center, and had the time of my life. I took a little walk through the amazing produce garden on the island, and Herath the Gardening Manager was kind enough to come over and offer me a tour of all the amazing things they grow to eat there. So many different kinds of basil, haha! There’s so much more we could say about what an amazing experience we had at Furaveri. We’d love to come back some day.
