I visited this location over the years and my father first took me there to show me where the Rat Pack had dropped in. The nostalgia of this location is awesome. The breakfast is fantastic. Years later I returned and was pleasantly surprised with the updated rooms. I would not say that this is a 1 star hotel. For what it is and how they have handled the renovations I would rate it much higher. You do not have to have foot rubbing amenities to enjoy seeing a historic location in Old Town. The tables were fun both Black Jack and Craps. Everyone was friendly and I hope to visit sometime in the future. Thank you for the clean rooms and it is definitely fun to see how a taste for size to equal opulence does not necessarily equal out. To me it was fun to see the size of showers and the doors. People were smaller years ago. This actually made this a quaint destination stop.

Buen hotel, limpió, lo único que no me agrado, fue la habitación doble, las camas muy chicas, Pedimos habitación de una sola cama, y la persona encargada del tour se hizo ojo de hormiga, en lasdos noches que nos quedamos no limpiaron la habitaciónlos precios de los alimentos acordé a lo que pides, pero en la foto del menú, a como lo sirven es muy diferente,

Rooms are very small, and not very clean. No coffee pot, microwave or refrigerator in rooms. Have to leave the hotel completely to get morning coffee. Had to walk couple blocks for good food. They have no shuttle to airport etc...And they are priced about the same as other hotels that do have everything listed above

First time staying at Golden Gate and chose a suite. It was very large and had nice finishes. Loved it, highly recommend and will stay again. Room was on south side (opposite of Fremont) that overlooked valet. Our friends stayed here as well in a basic room and the rooms are extremely small and outdated. I don't suggest due to the size and music is overly loud (they could not sleep because of the music level). Other hotels on fremont we've stayed at weren't as loud as these rooms. Gambled here as well and had great service from the table girls. Downfall - the door security were aggressive and rude. The other half of our party had kids with them and every single time yelled "No kids allowed in the casino". Each time they had to tell them they were staying in the hotel. Luckily it was only Friday and Saturday night. Overall my husband and I enjoyed it and had a great experience.

Aspecto limpo, excelente atendimento e cassino clássico. A localização também é excelente. Entretanto o quarto não tem frigobar e o estacionamento "self" (sem ballet) fica do outro lado da rua

Personally I've never stayed here, but when I do go to Vegas I always make sure I stop in. My buddies and I have become great friends with one of the bartenders. His name is Luis, and he's what we consider our personal bartender. Ask for the Don Julio 1942 double shot you won't be disappointed 🤣🤣🤣The guy is top notch!!! Tell him Chris sent you

Hope you don't plan on sleeping lol.Great price, great location, great customer service at the front desk. Dealers were very friendly and the gambling was fun! Lots of options. This is a very, very old hotel so don't expect anything fancy for a bathroom. The windows rattled from the live bands but that stopped at 2am. After 2 am.. it gets quiet. The beds were extremely hard but when you're drunk.. anything will do!

I came here for a beer and Valeria was so amazing that I came back every night while I was staying in Las Vegas. This woman is an excellent bartender and I hope management will recognise her skills and further her career with the company. She truly deserves it! Update: Valeria is still here and has obviously trained her new coworker Vienna. Both of these lovely women make this place worth visiting. Impeccable service! I highly recommend this bar.

Loved the history and the retro vibe. It's a great place if you're looking for a crash pad while you live it up on Fremont and Downtown. Just know that it is right next to the Fremont Street Experience, so it gets loud. Not a lot of sleep to be had before 2am. Not big on amenities, either. But you do have access to the bars and restaurants at The D and The Circa. Not to mention Circa's Stadium Pool.

My wife and I came to celebrate our anniversary. This is a great casino for the price. There was absolutely no wait to check in compared to other casinos that had long lines. The service was amazing. Fun place to play the penny slot machines. My wife loved the suite and the vanity mirrors. Not much outside noise from our room. The room was very clean when we got there. My wife and I enjoyed walking and dancing on Fremont Street just outside.

Rude staff and security personnel. I walked in to use the restroom and was promptly accosted by an overzealous rent a cop mask hole. I was in the middle of taking a drink when she became irate that I didn't have my mask on. Ironically 5 feet from her, several patrons at the bar werenot wearing masks. So which is it everyone has to wear masks or no one does. Oh, and the drink I was enjoying was from their outdoor bar. The mandate exempts people who are actively eating or drinking. TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER!!!!!

I have to say. Jenny the young lady at check-in (8pm on 2/3/2022) was such a pleasant person to work with. I requested a specific type of room and she searched and got exactly the room I wanted. This Hotel has all the charm of a relic in a poetic sense if the word. Just loved the nostalgia of it all. And Nostalgia is exactly what you get. I'm an old school Rat Pack kinda guy and loved it. It may not be for everyone, but perfect for me.

Sinceramente no volvería la habitaciones es super pequeña desde que entras al lobby el olor de cigarro, cigarrillo es horrible no acto para no fumadores. La habitación estaba sucio con cabellos en el baño el espaldar de la cama sucio con tierra el olor de cigarro en la habitación de 10, 9. Se supone que al subir a tu habitación ya quieres descansar era tanto el ruido que eso era difícil hasta que se termine la música. Cuando se solicitó un cambio en la recepción por el olor y ruido no conseguimos que nos ayudara.

Tengan mucho cuidado cuando reserven me dieron un precio por dos habitaciones que no respetaron me cobraron doble hable con la supervisora y fue muy despota.mi reservacion se la enseñe y no le importo voy a ir a conciliacion y arbitraje para ver que procede.tengan muchisimo cuidado en sus reservaciones por internet.definutivamente no lo recomiendo.

The room was adequate for one but not at all fancy and for two people would be crammed. My room overlooked the neon sign and the windows actually opened but the view was over a side street. Bed was comfortable, shower and bathroom were tiny. The casino is small but the casino host was really nice and welcoming. Parking was a block away in a small, open lot that was available for anyone to use, free for guests.
