“We booked the deluxe sea view room and were not disappointed. The room was absolutely massive and the terrace equally so. It was extremely clean and even though the room was enormous the AC was more than adequate to ensure a cool sleeping temperature. From the terrace you can hear the waves crashing against the shore, my only downside was that there was no sun loungers on the terrace. If they put loungers on there it would have been fantastic and truth be told, we didn’t ask so it may be an option. The included breakfast was fantastic and we did eat dinner at the restaurant twice. The lobster was delicious and priced very competitively compared to local restaurants. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The pool was lovely and extremely clean. Unfortunately the beach right in front of the hotel is not exactly suitable for sunbathing as it’s shell cemetery, you can walk 100 meters up the road and find a much better spot. There is some construction going on nearby which gets rather loud but nothing the hotel can do about that. Also a few local dogs who like to have a bark late at night. Everything else though was more than above par and I’d happily stay there again”

“Lovely, quiet and peaceful hotel. The pool is just lovely. The hotel is 20 minutes walk along the shoreline from the bustle of Santa Maria, so not ideal if you like to be in the thick of it. For me, it was perfect. Quiet, restful, with an exclusive feel. The food is excellent, although pricey.”
