“This was my last accommodation on my way back home, but it felt like I was already there and I didn't want to leave. It's well decorated without going overboard and looking gaudy. The home is well lit with soft lighting, no cheap fluorescent bulbs. I loved the teacups and tea/coffee selection, and the cereals/granola for complimentary breakfast. The towel and robe were soooo soft. The walls can be a bit thin, but I slept very well and a long time. I liked sitting in the living room area just relaxing and reflecting on a long journey. The five minute taxi ride was 35 USD! But the hostess offered to give a return ride for only 10 Euros at a scheduled time which I gladly accepted. It's a special place, I'd like to return one day.”

“Stayed here for one night while traveling to Ireland, this place was above and beyond what I expected! I paid $70 for a single room about 4 months in advance. The day I arrived I got to Nupan an hour earlier than check in but the hosts were very welcoming and checked me in early. There’s many restrooms and showers, free tea and coffee, and a hot tub. The room was very clean, and overall the whole building is charming. I had a great time here for my short time in Iceland, and I definitely want to come back for a longer. Regarding transportation, it was very easy to bus to Nupan using the Straeto 55 and walking about 5 minutes. This same route goes to Reykjavik’s city center, so Nupan is a convenient place to stay even if you want to visit the capital. I had to leave very early in the morning for a flight and Agata drove four of us travelers to the airport at 5 am for free. Services such as this are why I’d say Nupan Deluxe goes above and beyond what I expected from a hotel.”
