O que um ótimo hotel em Dacar. A localização é ótima. Sua capacidade é grande. Os quartos estão em padrões europeus. Você tem que pedir a chaleira no quarto. Existe apenas uma piscina exterior. É à beira-mar, mas você não pode entrar no mar. O nível do oceano muda diariamente. Além disso, depois de passar por uma longa área de grandes pedras, você pode nadar no mar. Quando o mar sobe, as rochas desaparecem. Os funcionários estão envolvidos. Prokol internacional prefere este lugar para acomodação. O distrito em que está localizado é o distrito de elite da capital. Há um bom restaurante café ao lado. Um mercado onde são vendidas marcas internacionais e você encontra tudo também está próximo, você pode caminhar até ele.

VERY DISAPPOINTING, primarily because staff just doesn't even try or seem to care at all... COLD SHOWER Apparently this is a consistent problem at this hotel. I couldn't get more than Luke warm water on any of my three days at this hotel even after running the shower for 10 minutes before getting in. POOL SERVICE POOR The hotel seemed nearly empty. What a perfect time for pool staff to walk the pool deck to take orders to accommodate guests. Each time I wanted something I had to go looking for a server. There was no follow up to see if I wanted another drink ever. They would likely have sold a few additional beverages had they simply asked or made it easier for the guests. SERVERS HAVE NO DESIRE TO MAKE CHANGE FOR A LARGER BILL This caused me to not leave a tip several times after asking for change. No one even tried. The answer was NO. The servers only hurt themselves here and I saved money on tips, although that was never my primary goal. I always wanted to leave a tip even with poor service at best. ROOM SERVICE LACKING I like coke zero. I asked for it the first night. It wasn't available, nor was coke lite. The story was the same the second day and the third. Why they can't go to the store and refill their inventory beats me. They prefer saying NO rather than make the effort to have menu items available. ROOM COFFEE SERVICE INCONSISTENT The coffee service in the room was not stocked when I checked into the room. Each day after housekeeping I had to call to get coffee service. This was annoying and unnecessary. LACK OF ANY EFFORT BY ALL The hotel staff, ALL the staff seem to be geared to say NO rather than address even the smallest issues. Stay somewhere else that cares about their guests, because King Fahd, at least during my stay, could have cared less about me or my stay.

One of the milestones of Dakar, you have to see it ! A bit old school but they are undergoing big renovation.

Nice hotel. Great location. Beach access. Very old style and not renovated. Bathroom tiles are old and have some mold in many rooms. We were a group and stayed in several rooms and all noticed the mold in different areas of the bathrooms. Staff is friendly. Food is good. Hotel is really run down compared to other hotels in town.

Buen hotel pero esta en un proceso de reforma integral y hay muchos espacios cerrados, pocos clientes por el COVID, está situado al lado del mar y en una zona muy tranquila, aunque con restaurantes cerca.

Hotel ideal para disfrutar de reuniones, de comida y de descanso. Espacios verdes e instalaciones deportivas. Al lado del mar.

Good location. The rooms could use some renovating, as there were multiple problems with my room. When I think of a 5 star hotel that costs over $250 a night, this isn't what I think of. The pool and view were the only redeeming factors. Hotels located in a nice area, near the beach and many restraunts, but the taxi drivers will try to scan you because it's an upper class area. Overall I recommend if it's a discounted rate, but wouldn't pay the full rate.

Location, location, location. That's all this hotel has, to earn these 3 stars. Located a mere 5 minute walk from the western most point of Africa, this dated property offers magnificent views of the Atlantic. The rooms are large and quiet with old furniture and mellow lighting. A note of caution: there are very few power outlets in the rooms; it took me a good 10 minutes to locate one for charging my phone. Enjoy the views and the food at the local seaside restaurants, a quick 7 minute walk away.

Excelente hotel, donde dispones de todos los servicios, incluidos campo de golf, piscina, solárium, gimnasio, música en directo cada noche, etc.

Completo hotel en las Almaides y posiblemente el más grande de Dakar. Es un 5 estrellas que ya sea por la acción del mar o la dejadez se le ve un poco viejo. Dispone de todos los servicios, campo golf, peluquería, masaje (regular), desayuno buffet (bueno), gimnasio (pequeño), restaurante, piano bar, piscina (fantástica), centro convenciones, etc... Las habitaciones necesitan una reforma y como no se pongan las pilas, los nuevos hoteles que hay proyectados se van ha llevar su exigua clientela. Le pongo cuatro estrellas por su personal superior.

Cinco estrellas que pide una reforma. Hotel con muchos servicios: peluquería, shopping, gimnasio (pequeño), piscina (ideal), 4 pistas de tenis, campo de golf... Habitaciones necesitadas de reforma tanto de mobiliario como de estructura y mejor tratamiento para los insectos. Pero en general muy bien.

Es un hotel de 5 estrellas con el precio de un hotel de esas características pero con grandes deficiencias en el mantenimiento de las habitaciones, huelen a humedad, goteras, agua marrón en la ducha, el gimnasio es pequeño y sin ventilación. Por otro lado el entorno, los jardines y la piscina están bien. Es una de las zonas caras de Dakar llena de embajadas, entre otras la de EEUU.

Buen hotel, la habitación no es acorde a la categoría del hotel. Las bombillas de la mesilla por ejemplo estan llenas de polvo. En el baño detrás del bidé hay dos cables de tierra cojidos con una abrazadera metálica. Mucha seguridad en la puerta.

This hotel is very average and definitely not 5-star. It is huge with large conference facilities. However, the rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. There is strong musky smell, old furniture...

This hotel is huge, with an impressive conference center attached. The stores and restaurant within are nice and reasonably priced. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. My room had a view...
