For more than a century, Le Consulat was the site of the Consulate of Brazil. Overlooking the famed Camões Square, it boasts an exceptional location in the heart of the Chiado district, the district of artists and Lisbon's cultural life. The building was fully refurbished to now hold some twenty spacious suites, decorated in collaboration with the most important art galleries in Lisbon. These spacious suites are available in the heart of a place that is fully dedicated to contemporary creation. At Le Consulat, we love exhibits of paintings, photos, design and music. We love to discover and we love to share! We also love good wine, gastronomy and, above all, getting you to discover new products, surprising you, getting you to listen to music. “Fui esta noite ao Bar do Le Consulat. A expectativa era grande pois já tinha lido boas críticas. Fiquei bastante desiludida. A carta de vinhos é pobre, a música demasiado alta. Quer a decoração quer o atendimento são bastante bons mas se não quiser beber um cocktail não arrisque a visita. Pedi um Porto Tawny 10 anos (das 3 opções de vinho do Porto da lista, 1 LBV, 1 Tawny e 1 Porto Branco) e fiquei pasma quando o copo em que me serviram parecia uma taça de champanhe dos anos 30 mas com vidro grosso. Uma pena. Talvez para beber um Gin se passe um bom momento mas então não lhe chamem um Wine Bar!”
