From the second you arrive you are welcomed by friendly staff and a glass of juice launched into our hands. Food was great drinks were great. Beautiful location and beach can’t wait to go again

La limpieza no es muy buena.A veces no te ponen ni gel. Las toallas sucias deja mucho que desear para un hotel de 5 estrellas.Lo único que merece la pena son los trabajadores , que se vuelcan contigo.:hay un chiringuito en la piscina que te hacen reportajes de fotos y en vez de darme las 7 fotos queme cobraron.me dieron 5 y todavía estoy esperando 2 fotos.En fin no lo recomiendo.

All inclusive resort so if you go privately... Be aware that all the Al a carte restaurants are always fully booked You have to book Daily at reception.so we arrived and could not eat at any of them that evening ( cab into town was €3 ) Also the buffet breakfast and dinner is not the best ,not a lot of choice and just ok quality wise The complex is massive ,we were close to the beach and needed the buggy to take us and cases to the villa (mom not good on her legs )they are very unreliable ,always running out of charge .... So waited half hour for one to take us. All other amenities were in good order and clean Beach was well equipped with good quality and a great choice of different sun beds,beach bar was efficient friendly service

We were here in January 2020 and I have mixed feelings on the resort. The grounds are lovely and the location was on one of most beautiful spots on the beach. However, the lounger situation on the resort’s beach is not good. There are hardly enough wind breakers which means people get to the beach early and use other loungers to create makeshift breakers leaving fewer loungers for other people. There are not enough staff to do anything about this which is annoying. Another negative is that the main buffet is very disappointing for dinner in particular. If you are staying definitely try to get in the O Grille restaurant on the beach more than once - best location and best good in the resort.

Hotel de primeira. Quando estive em Cabo Verde, utilizei o serviço tudo incluso. Desde a chegada já foram muito generosos, pois anteciparam nosso check-in sem cobrar taxas. O que mais me chamou atenção foi o profissionalismo dos colaboradoras. Todos da recepção são excelentes, A Dona Josefa, muito simpática nas reservas dos restaurantes, a Ramira, Vera, Carla, Daniel, Williane outros funcionários dos restaurantes. Hugo e Romário dos bares e o pessoal da recreação, entre eles a Ludmila. Todos nota 10. Tudo sempre limpo e organizado. Recomendarei sempre o hotel para meus amigos e para quem se interessar pela ilha do sal.

Lovely hotel, beautifully well kept gardens, rooms great, food lovely, beach lovely. Would have given 5 stars but for the weather (which I know has nothing to do with the hotel but for me is the reason I won't be returning) arrived in a "dust/sand" storm which lasted for 2 days then had either hazy or sun and haze days where you could sit in the sun between 11am - 3pm but after that it wasn't warm enough and even then if you were on the beach you got sandblasted as the wind was so strong and the sea was absolutely freezing so had to force ourselves to get in and couldn't stay in for long. The pools were also freezing. It was cold and windy at breakfast time and when going to dinner in the evenings, so much so that most people wore trousers, jumpers and even coats! Also the rooms were constantly dusty and the wind blew it around all the time. Maybe it would be better in the summer months, but for me, this wasn't a suitable location for a winter holiday.

Publico fotos de la playa porque es lo único que merece la pena del hotel . Si no fuera por eso le quitaría una estrella mas . Experiencia lamentable . Nunca pensé que un Melia pudiera ser tan malo. Lo primero , la atención , solo encontramos a una persona en el restaurante de la playa que fuera amable con nosotros. Y no es porque los Caboverdianos no sean amables , que lo son y mucho , si no porque en general el personal del hotel era muy seco y desagradable. Las instalaciones muy pobres , las villas donde te alojas son como un apartahotel malo , wifi casi inexistente , sin teléfono , decoración horrible y barata , cama básica y pequeña . El primer día nos hicieron la habitación a las 16:00 y el segundo querían hacerla a las 8:00 . La comida muy pobre , de muy mala calidad y poco variada. La bebida aún peor , bebidas de marca blanca totalmente imbebibles , lo único la cerveza local que a una mala se puede beber. En resumen un todo incluido básico donde encontrarás Ingleses dorando al sol, comiendo y bebiendo todo el día , y donde salgo tomar el sol en la playa o alguna actividad de playa ( paseo a caballo , submarinismo .. etc , ) no hay nada que hacer . El hotel francamente decepcionante , necesita una reforma integral de sus instalaciones y una mejora notable de sus servicios .

Adorei a estadia, as instalações muito boas, as areas de piscina sossegadas e uma vista fantástica. Os 4 restaurantes sao variados e um menu delicioso todos os dias. O staff muito simpático e prestável:) sempre dispostos a tornar a estadia ainda melhor. A referenciar o Wilson e a Zuleica que tornaram a nossa estadia muito especial. Sem duvida um sítio a voltar :)

Hotel normalito, fuimos en modo solo alojamiento y lo tienen bastante mal pensado para ese modo de hospedaje ya que no tienes un sitio disponible hasta las 10 para tomar un café, si no tienes opción de todo incluido. Por otro lado comimos un solo día y la verdad es que la comida fue muy mala, fue una hamburguesa seca y una fajita seca también. Supongo que la gente con la versión de todo incluido pues le puede valer pero cuando te cobran 10 euros por una hamburguesa que no vale un ni 1 euros pues no te vale. Las instalaciónes están muy bien y la playa es muy bonita.

Fantastic hotel! Lots of space between the apartments, comfort, feeling of not being crowdy, which I love in order to rest.A few swimming pools, a few restaurants, including grill restaurant at the very beach. Fantastic, large, air conditioned appartments. I loved this hotel! Really recommended!

O hotel é o primeiro da cadeia dos Meliã a ser construído aqui. Funciona muito bem os quartos são amplos e muito confortáveis e a recepção desponibilsa um atendimento personalizado durante 24h. Como ele se localiza um pouco longe da vila de Santa Maria os clientes tem disponível um transfer durante 3 vez durante a parte da manhã. E a tarde.Um hotel calmo que eu super recomendo para famílias e pessoas que têm interesse em descansar.

Estive hospedado do dia 02 a 07 Outubro de 2019 e foi excelente em todos os aspectos desde a recepção ,as suites ,a alimentação os barese a simpatia como somos tratados . Só tenho a apontar ,como forma de poderem melhorar o entretenimento dentro do hotel,pois achei muito fraco para um hotel de 5 estrelas.Comparando com outros hotéis de 4 estrelas onde havia entretenimento durante todo o dia e mesmo musica ligada todo o dia em todos os espaços...este não tem essa característica o que desvaloriza um pouco o hotel. A minha critica nesse aspecto é no sentido de no futuro poderem melhorar.Tudo o resto Adorei e recomendo. Avelino Jorge Lopes

El hotel genial, ideal para pasar unos días de descanso, tanto las habitaciones como los baños amplios y limpios, wifi solo en la recepción, el personal muy amable, el restaurante buffet como cualquier vacacional, el hotel da directamente a la playa, se puede alquilar una cama balinesa, hay diferentes actividades y excursiones que se pueden hacer. En general bastante bien todo.
