Had to wait quite a bit for baked wggplant and separate grilled veggies at the restaurant. After asking the waitress how long it would still take it was suddenly ready. The baked eggplant was only slightly warm. No excuses from the waitress, the manager offered to heat up the eggplant once again. 1star is for tasty grilled veggies. Just one of those days I guess…

This small Hotel, one of Turkish SU lines hotels, is excellent choice for short and longer accommodation in Ohrid. Rooms are nice, very clean and modern furnished, with excellent bathrooms. Some are facing Lake Ohrid, which is additional pleasure. Room service is excellent. Breakfast is excellent, provided until 10.30am, it is rich and with variety of dishes, salty, sweet or cereals, continental or English. Coffee is served (not self service) but you can have few different coffees during breakfast. Service is very good. Dining place is comfortably open to the Lake during summer and sunny days or closed when cold. I've noticed plenty of local people coming to have breakfast, coffee or refreshments, pairs as well as whole families. Parking is small but available. Hotel is 10 minutes walk out of centre. On top of the Hotel is famous terrace, with a superb Lake view, loved by locals as well by the guests! Prices are well balanced and offer good value for money! The Hotel is pet friendly!

An average, overpriced hotel in Ohrid. The air conditioning in the room is locked to a temperature and you can't change it. We asked at reception how to change the temperature and the instructions they gave us didn't work. The rooms are very hot especially in the night time. A 4 star hotel should have air conditioning especially in the summer when it is 36 degrees outside. We had a room with a "lake view" which was a balcony that was attached to the communal terrace with a tiny side view of the lake. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are soft and have no support whatsoever. I woke up with a sore back every morning. The breakfast is the worst I've had in any hotel. The meat on the breakfast table is riddled with flies. There are at least 10 flies on all the meats and fresh food at all times. We came down an hour before the breakfast ended on both mornings and there were no fried eggs. We asked the waiter will they bring out more fried eggs and he said yes but 30 minutes later there were still no eggs. We ended up leaving and having to buy breakfast elsewhere. I would not recommend this hotel if you stay in Ohrid and there are definitely better and more affordable options in Ohrid.

This is a review for the rooftop restaurant- we did not stay at the hotel. The view and ambience of the restaurant was beautiful - although prices are probably 20 per cent higher than other high end restaurants I would say it is worth it for the atmosphere. Food was decent enough although not remarkable. Service was fine- there was a mix- up with our dishes which meant that my wife had been served her trout 30 minutes before the rest of us got our dishes, but that was ok.... THEN A party arrived who were seated at the next table( inside the restaurant) and 3 of them proceeded to smoke right beside my two children. Your establishment even supplied them with ashtrays!! As you are well aware this is against Macedonian law and I will be reporting it to the authorities ( we have pictures) There is a terrace/ balcony to your restaurant and it would not have been difficult to ask these people to step out there to smoke. I am not an anti- smoker, I smoke myself but would never dream of smoking beside somebody's children. The fact that your restaurant not only allows this behaviour but actually encourages it by supplying ashtrays is outrageous. I raised the matter with our waiter who said he was sorry and that it was his fault, but did nothing to correct the situation. We had no option other than to pay our bill and leave. An otherwise great night ruined.. As said I have photographic evidence of your staff allowing these people to smoke inside your restaurant and will be forwarding it to the authorities. Needless to say we will never use your establishment again and will advise others to avoid.

The hotel has excellent location. Nice short walk to all amenities. The room was very spacious and had a fantastic view towards the lake! Staff at reception are wonderful. Roof top restaurant top service. Thanks a lot to the two lovely ladies serving us on eve of the 18th of July. Huge smiles and very polite. I can not say the same to the staff at the bar downstairs but I think they try at their best maybe its just to stressful for them sometimes. The food is excellent. The drinks are good, the coffee is fantastic. We had a great stay overall with our two kids. Don't be fooled by the silly reviews left here. Its really nice hotel. Thank you again. See you soon.
