“Lobby was beautiful and the bartender Jose is amazing, so I would say pop in for a visit, however I wouldn't recommend staying here. The lights went out frequently. Hot water had to be fixed, shower head in bath tub didn't work, TV kept turning off despite indicating I was watching, and I thought I was getting an ocean view but got a view of the pool without the opportunity to upgrade despite it being their error. Don't waste your hard earned money here.”

“I booked an ocean front villa with el San Juan Hotel... when we arrived we had absolutely no view of the ocean we literally had a view of a wall/garden bushes that blocked the actual ocean. Still beautiful but not what we paid for. The actual stay was nice and serene but the issue came at checkout. We were charged more than the amount we booked at checkout and then charged an extra 500. When trying to contact someone it was a hassle. Still haven’t reached anyone. Left me on hold and then hung up. We were charged an extra 900 dollars. Completely ruined our trip.

After speaking with someone who was actually higher up, he refunded the extra amount that we were charged. It took a few weeks but it was resolved.”
