“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. All of the staff is excellent except for the front desk manager in a red jacket.
Estelar Apartamentos Medellin started construction, including hammering and drilling, half way through my 2 week stay in surrounding rooms.
I made a simple request to be moved to a room without construction.
The manager described above laughed in my face and said no. This is the first time I've been insulted by a hotel manager. She later told me "You can't expect it to be quiet all the time," when I made a second request to be moved. The construction started at 8AM and went until 6PM. I don't expect silence all the time but I also don't expect to pay full price for a hotel with construction 10 hours per day with no warning.
I ultimately left the hotel halfway through my stay to find a hotel without construction. I booked this hotel thinking it would be a quiet place to do business. I was not warned about the construction prior to booking nor was I notified at check-in.
I ultimately lost money because I was unable to conduct business meetings as planned and I was charged for the night that I left early.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It's a shame, because every single person I interacted was great except for the manager in the red jacket.”

“Excellent hotel. Excellent deal. Had a wash room in our room. We went to the wrong side of the building at first. Across the street from Santa Fe mall and next door to a grocery store. Pretty nice views. Pretty good breakfast.”
