“Convenient downtown location -- no car required. Competent, available staff. Respectable restaurant (if slightly overpriced). Immaculately clean business-class no-frills rooms. Great city views, if you're up high enough. NOON check-out! The TV isn't "smart," so bring your cables. A single in-house movie costs more than two months' Netflix premiums. In-room Wi-Fi is NOT free; in 2018, that's totally unacceptable. The in-house ATM charges a $2.50 fee for all transactions.”

Parking facilities. The beds on the double rooms are very small, hard to fit two adults in one.

I liked that is was central and easy to walk up Spark street to the main part of downtown. The second elevator needs to be fixed as there is a lot of waiting time for the one that is working. I would prefer a better explanation about the cost of parking and the levels in the public garage. There should be a basic fee for your stay at the hotel

The location was convenient for walking to downtown sites. There were very few dining options closeby. The best option was to walk 20-25 minutes to Byward Market.

Location Dingy and old feeling. In need of an update. Not a four star by any means

The fast elevator services and proximity to the city is the plus of the hotel. The bathroom is filthy. First assigned room had brown stain on toilet cover & dried stains on the front outer side of toilet bowl. After switched to second room, the bath tub knob has bar soap stick at one side. Not sure if the bathroom was ever clean!

I liked the view from the room and the cleanliness. The air in the rooms is so dry couldnt sleep for more than 30 min consecutively. Carpets are out of style. The man who checked us in was very abrupt and rushed.

We have been to Ottawa many times and have stayed at numerous downtown hotels. We stayed here many years ago and thought we should try it again.
Iâll be honest, our first night was awful. This hotel...

Was in town for a conference which was held at this hotel. Normally I'd stay at the Westin or Sheraton but I enjoyed my first time at the Marriott. It's in a convenient location -- just a stones...

Stayed one night, and I was happy with my choice of hotel in downtown Ottawa. I'm Lifetime Plat in Marriott rewards program, and had complimentary access to the lounge.
I only have positive comments...

We stayed here for a few nights while in the Ottawa area. It's a nice, comfortable hotel in a pretty ideal spot in downtown. The staff are nice. They do need more staff at check in (front desk) as...

We went for a funeral and found our disappointment continued. We stayed one night on Sept. 15/21. We went to the pool and found scum on the latter. But, it was a great idea to add the pool...
