“Do not stay at this hotel! We had such high expectations as it was very centrally located and looked beautiful. We made reservations directly through the hotel and selected the "Pay at the hotel" option due to covid concerns. Unfortunately, our flights were cancelled and we never made it to Madrid. However, the hotel still charged me and refused to even give me a partial refund. After much back and fourth they asked for supporting documents to look into my case. Then after giving them boarding passes, confirmation numbers, etc. they still stated that I didn't have a valid excuse to cancel my reservation and refused to give me my money back despite never having stayed at this hotel for something completely out of our control. This hotel may be beautiful but lacks empathy, respect, and genuine customer service for it's guests. Please do not give them your business and book your stay elsewhere.”
