“During the height of our storm on Friday, with complete constant white outs, I was able to reach this hotel looking for shelter from my shift at the local nursing home. The desk attendant told me there were no more rooms. I explained to her I was coming from my work at a local nursing home. I asked if I could sit on their couch until I figured out what to do. She did allow that. The front door wasn’t working so they directed me to the side door to return to my vehicle once I made other arrangements to attempt to get to another hotel. At no time, did anyone make any attempt to invite me to stay there where it was safe. They knew I was going to leave and go back to driving. I think it is very poor human compassion to not offer a person shelter during that blizzard. There are couches and conference rooms, along with blankets and pillows to offer. I was very blessed to make it to my next destination where I had to stay for 2 days. I just was disappointed in the lack of concern.”

“The room was large, clean, quiet. The bed had lots of pillows and was very comfortable. The bathroom, tub, shower and towels were great. The elevators were fast. There were snacks and a pretty good selection of beers to purchase at the check in area, at very reasonable prices. I didn't grab any but the breakfast looked good, including waffles and pancakes. I stayed one night at the Wyndham Garden Buffalo Downtown on High St across from Buffalo General Hospital. I stayed because of the winter weather making driving challenging.”
