“The Grand Floridian Resort is in my opinion the best resort for a family stay at Walt Disney World. The resort has its own monorail stop accessible from the second floor of the resort. The first stop is the Magic Kingdom park which is across the lake from the resort. You can enjoy the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom and the parade on the lake from the resort. There is also a boat service from the Magic Kingdom to the resort. The bus stop at the resort makes it easy to get to the other parks. I always enjoy my stay at the Grand Floridian. There are great restaurants at the resort including a type of convenience store. There is a nice walkway along the lake connecting the resort to the Magic Kingdom and the Polynesian Resort. The resort itself are very clean and well kept. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The Grand Floridian Resort offers a relaxing, family friendly atmosphere with the convenience of being moments away from the Disney parks and attractions. Bottom line, is this is by far my preferred resort!”

“Good. I am going to lose a few things that hold this back from being great. First off the kiddie pool which looked awesome was getting re done so we had zero access to it. The restaurants inside grand Floridian are borderline inedible. We tried some pasta there and we just had to get something else to eat when we left. They have the monorail but everyday there was a note saying how it wasn't working. It wasn't going to Epcot at all during our stay. They also stuck us in building 8. If you have small kids I would not stay here. I would look for a more kid friendly place. This hotel is very clean and the people are nice but not a fan of the food here and just no kid friendly things.”
