Minha esposa e eu ficamos aqui como um staycation há alguns anos, pois vivemos em KC. Tivemos um tempo maravilhoso que esperamos ficar novamente (não vi um preço acessível em um quarto até agora). Em nossa memória estavam as camas altas, colchões confortáveis e decoração de época no quarto. Quando eu precisei passar a noite no centro para trabalhar recentemente, minha esposa ficou com ciúmes de que ela não podia ficar também. Sinceramente, me decepcionei. O hotel tem um charme do velho mundo e você sente isso mesmo agora quando entra no lobby e pega o elevador para o seu quarto. O quarto era limpo e a cama confortável, mas o quarto parecia bem usado. A argamassa do chuveiro poderia ser melhor limpa e a guarnição da porta do banheiro estava caindo. Todo o encanto que eu tinha memória, não estava lá. Talvez existam quartos diferentes como o que eu me lembro?? Não tenho certeza, mas não vou querer voltar. Por falta de pessoal, o processo de check-in foi lento, pois parecia que a pessoa da recepção estava ajudando com o restaurante e o estacionamento. Atualmente, o 'Serviço' não existe (a menos que você queira pagar por isso). Após o check-in, não há mais 'serviço', a menos que você estacione com manobrista. Não há serviço de limpeza diário, nada de especial. Não se acanhe de ficar aqui, mas espere apenas a estadia básica. Você não recebe o que paga a menos que obtenha um bom desconto em um quarto.

My wife and I stayed here as a staycation a few years ago as we live in KC.We had such a wonderful time we've looked forward to staying again (I haven't seen an affordable price on a room thus far).In our memory was the tall beds, comfortable mattresses, and time period décor in the room.When I needed to stay overnight downtown for work recently, my wife was jealous she couldn't stay too.Honestly, I was disappointed. The hotel has an old world charm and you feel it even now when you walk in the lobby and take the elevator to your room. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but the room looked well used.The grout in the shower could be cleaned better and the trim over the bathroom door was falling off.All the charm I had memory of, wasn't there. Maybe there are different rooms like what I remember??I'm not sure, but I won't be longing to come back.Do to lack of staff the check-in process was slow as it appeared the front desk person was helping with the restaurant and parking.These days 'Service' is no existent (unless you want to pay for it).After check-in, there is no more 'service' unless you valet park.No daily maid service, nothing special anymore.Don't shy away from staying here, but just expect the basic stay.You don't get what you pay for unless you get a good discount on a room.

As many people have said this may have been a nice hotel at one time but, It is clear that no effort has been made to maintain the rooms since the renovation. Save your money and stay somewhere else.Stay somewhere else!!!The hotel was dark and felt very creepy. We were in town for a volleyball tournament at the Convention Center and Hy-vee arena which made this hotel a great location and that where the positives stop.We used the valet service and it was absolutely terrible, we had to get our vehicle two different times as the valet was under staffed and this was not Covid related, there were 10 people waiting for cars for over 30 mins on Saturday morning and there was only 1 person at the valet stand @ 7:00 am, so DO NOT USE THE VALET SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.The rooms are small and uncomfortable our bathroom had been somewhat cleaned the toilet was dirty and the mirror had toothpaste splatter on it and was dusty, we had to ask for more shampoo at the front desk and they handed us to half empty bottle so I can only imagine what they are leaving in the rooms. hot water did not heat up. bed was uncomfortable, carpet was filthy! No microwave or mini fridge. Tiny ice machines on odd floor only that barley worked.There was cracked plaster, chipped paint, and several other thing that made this hotel feel like a dive roadside motel on the outskirts of town and not a 4 star hotel in the heart of downtown.The only nice thing about the hotel is it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the lobby was cool architecturally speaking

Eles não estão fornecendo o nível de serviço que você esperaria a esse preço. O quarto não estava limpo e o quarto tinha vários problemas de reparo que não haviam sido resolvidos. Refazemos a cama, pois a pessoa que a fez inicialmente não conseguiu que o lençol cobrisse totalmente o colchão. A equipe de arrumação veio sem aviso prévio às 9:00 como estávamos fazendo as malas para sair. Quando liguei para a recepção para resolver um problema com nossa conta e informá-los sobre alguns dos outros problemas, eles me ouviram, mas ficou claro que nada disso foi um choque para eles. Se você puder ficar em outro lugar, eu ficaria. Se tudo estiver reservado, certifique-se de não entrar com grandes expectativas.

This may have been a nice hotel at one time but, It is clear that no effort has been made to maintain the rooms since the renovation. They are not providing the level of service you would expect at this price point. The room was not clean and the room had various repair issues that had not been addressed. We remade the bed since the person who made it initially was not able to get the sheet to fully cover the mattress. The housekeeping staff came in unannounced at 9 AM as we were packing to leave. When I called the front desk to address an issue with our bill and inform them of some of the other problems they heard me out but, it was clear that none of this was a shock to them. If you can stay somewhere else I would. If everything is booked then make sure you don't go in with high expectations.

Se não por outro motivo, fique aqui para a EQUIPE! Cada pessoa era incrível. Tão agradável! Eles garantiram que eu fosse considerado um viajante individual - deram ótimas sugestões de estacionamento e alimentação e garantiram que eu tivesse uma bela vista da cidade. Ficou na cidade para um concerto. O quarto era bom. Eu gostei da decoração do hotel antigo. 2 questões eram que nosso edredom era branco com uma grande mancha. Já era tarde quando percebemos, então apenas o chutamos para fora da cama. A questão 2 é o design do chuveiro. A porta está no lado oposto dos controles, então você tem que entrar para ligá-la e então a água congelada te atinge até esquentar ou você correr. No geral, ficaríamos aqui novamente, mas não é o meu hotel favorito de sempre

Stayed while in town for a concert. The room was nice. I liked the old hotel decor. 2 issues were that our comforter was white with a big stain. It was late when we noticed it so we just kicked it off the bed. Issue 2 is the design of the shower. Door is on the opposite side of the controls so you have to get in to turn it on and then the freezing water hits you until it gets warm or you run. Overall we'd stay here again but not my favorite hotel ever

If for no other reason, stay here for the STAFF! Every single person was amazing. So enjoyable! They made sure I was accounted for as a solo traveler— gave great suggestions for parking and food and made sure to provide me with a beautiful view of the city. Breakfast at the tavern was hot and delicious and the decor was shush perfection!

Fiquei aqui por cerca de uma semana e meia, a equipe aqui é muito acolhedora e simpática, sempre fui recebido pela equipe cada vez que entrei no hotel. O hotel também é muito limpo e bem organizado. A comida do restaurante era incrível. O café da manhã era servido todos os dias das 6h às 12h, o que é ótimo para os hóspedes. Laura, creio que era o nome dela, sempre me cumprimentava todos os dias no café da manhã. Com certeza voltarei de novo

Stayed here for about a week and a half, staff here is very welcoming and friendly, I was always greeted by the staff every time I walked in the hotel. The hotel is also very clean and well organized. Restaurant food was amazing. Breakfast was served everyday from 6am to 12pm which is a great thing to have for guests. Laura I believe her name was, always greeted me everyday for breakfast. Will definitely come back again

Great hotel in downtown KC! The Speakeasy was awesome and the atmosphere & decor of the hotel was intriguing! The location was awesome and within walking distance from multiple bars and restaurants! Customer service was amazing and they bent over backwards to ensure we were satisfied after we had rooms that the A/C was broken in; definitely would go again!

This was our second time to stay at the Phillips. We love the location where we can walk to places downtown, grab the streetcar a block away and step back into the old time hotels of Kansas City. The Hilton's desire to have this old hotel loved again is so evident. They have done a great job in bringing it back to it's glory. On this trip we were greeted with details about Hilton's cleanliness procedures. Everything was fine, except for our remote for the TV. It had a sticky substance on it and under the tag that stated it had been cleaned. When we received another remote, it was not clean either. Maybe other guests don't require a clean remote, we do. Would have loved to give it 5 stars, but not with nasty remotes.

The building is nice and has some history to it. Our room was pretty nice. No refrigerator, no microwave. Our coffee tray was not stocked upon arrival. The breakfast consisted of bagged hard boiled eggs and cereal.

Vim aqui a trabalho e não podíamos acreditar os preços pelo que é. Tenho visto alguns comentários de quartos sujos, mas não vi nada fora do comum de qualquer hotel. Resenhas honestamente de uma estrela para poeira em um canto. Vamos ... Por último, equipe incrível. Came here for work and we couldn't believe the prices for what it is. I have seen some reviews of dirty rooms but I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary of any hotel. Honestly one-star reviews for dust in a corner. Come on... Lastly amazing staff. The shiny mask girl at the desk was extremely friendly and had a great knowledge of the area. Go Chiefs!

Gorgeous building. Art deco. Really great service. Had trouble getting more soap and towels, but manager himself brought us the items and discounted one night. The speakeasy is cool, and, the bartender in the taverna was excellent. Great selection of food, but even better selection of bourbon. We will definitely be back.

Nice lobby and location, but otherwise a very average hotel. Our upgrade to a deluxe king room left us in a tiny, dark space next to the service elevator. The bathroom was also tiny, and poorly serviced. We travel to KC about once a month, and for the same price point there are much better options in the immediate area. Try the Ambassador, huge well appointed rooms, better amenities, and well cleaned/serviced. Or even short term lofts. Don’t waste your $$ here.

Achei que este hotel tinha uma ótima sensação arquitetônica e foi decorado com estilo. Foi como voltar no tempo. Com isso dito, eu tive alguns problemas com o quarto. Curiosamente, não havia geladeira na sala para armazenar qualquer tipo de comida ou bebida. A outra é que o quarto tinha um cheiro particular, não mofado ou mofado, assim como um cheiro envelhecido. Também não havia estacionamento para o hotel. O único estacionamento disponível era uma garagem, que você tem que pagar, ou estacionamento na rua, que era tão caro.

I thought this hotel had great architectural feel and was decorated with style. It was like going back in time. With that said, I did have some issues with the room. Oddly enough, there was no refrigerator in the room to hold any type of food or drinks. The other is that the room did have a particular smell, not musty or moldy, just like an aged smell. There was also no parking for the hotel. The only available parking was either a parking garage, that you have to pay for, or street parking which was just as expensive.
