we stayed in this hotel while we were visiting Peru. Our experience was amazing. The hotel is incredible, well placed surrounded by the nature with an amazing view on the lake and on the city of Puno. The staff is professional and always ready to help you with anything you need. They offer a lot of services to the guests (laundry, service room, ecc.. you can find the complete list on the website). There is also the possibility to have an Apero organized at their fireplace. You have to book it in advance at the reception since it is going to be organized privately just for you. It is a bit expensive (50usd/person) but it's worth it. You'll enjoy wine and food while looking at the sunset on the city. If you plan to stay at this hotel, you must do it. Check out my photos to stay speachless.

Cramped rooms that need sprucing. Location is excellent with a great view of Titicaca. The chain still uses sealed toiletries and unnecessary plastic packaging. We stayed at 8 different hotels during our trip and this was the only chain that didn't use refillable toiletries. Hopefully they will make the change soon to help the delicate environment

Hotel lobby is good and spacious. Rooms are a bit dark and dated. Could do with upgrade. Location of hotel is awesome,so they should update and utilize the location as a selling point

Great location with an amazing view. Tasty food. Good service. Close to Puno but for the centre you have to walk 3km or to use a taxi. Very heavy and corpulent cover, noisy ventilation, entry card to the room inactive in the middle of our stay. There are Alpacas in the area 👍

I just loved staying at this hotel. They really made their best to make us comfortable. The view to the lake from the room was amazing! Watching the sunset and the sunrise was a wonderful experience. They kindly upgraded our room to a suite, and kindly helped me organize a surprise for my husband's birthday. The food was really good, both for room service and at the restaurant (we really enjoyed the lamb). Our tour in canoe in the lake was wonderful, our guide made sure we were safe and enjoying our tour at the same time. We really felt pampered there, definitely going back for some extra relaxing time :)

Lo visite cuando era Libertador, creo que descuidaron detalles en el servicio pedi un lomo saltado criollo no entiendo porque le pusieron el huevo no lo especificaba en la carta y si estuviera debieron de preguntar como lo deseo es un hotel de categoría no podemos descuidarnos uno visita sus instalaciones porque sabemos que debe haber calidad en todo sentido.

Este hotel tiene las mejores vistas de la ciudad, ya sea al este donde puedes ver las islas flotantes de los Uros o al oeste con la vista de la ciudad y el lago, es un hotel de 5 estrellas de los años 70, con una arquitecturaclásica, en relación al precio servicio me parece un poco caro 34 soles por una sopa de quinua. El lugar impecable, el servicio atento pero el precio muy alto.

O hotel éótimo, porém o quarto e o banheiro pequenos. O ar condicionado do quarto é só quente. As camas são ótimas. A vista do Lago Titicaca émaravilhosa de todos os locais do hotel. Café da manhã sensacional.

Belas vistas do Lago Titicaca. Ambiente muito bonito dentro do prédio e fora dele. Existem trilhas onde você pode fazer uma caminhada segura na ilha onde o hotel é localizado. Excelente café da manhã. Quarto amplo, com camas confortáveis e aquecimento do ambiente. Estacionamento gratuito.

Location espectacular, posicionada en una pequeña isla sobre el Lago Titi Caca, ofrece una vista unica de la ciudad y el lago. El servicio es personalizado y muy atento a cualquier necesidad, sobre todo en caso de problemas relacionados a la altitud (tienen una sala especial con balón de oxigeno en caso de necesidad). En la parte trasera del hotel también es posible ver a llamas y alpacas, las mascotas del hotel. La estructura es moderna y amueblada según un gusto elegante. Servicio ristorante abierto las 24 horas, desayuno super completo y delicioso, con ingredientes nacionales de primera calidad.

El hotel es cómodo amplio bien organizado. El personal es atento y amble. Tienen buena comida, los desayunos a tu gusto y elección. Los cuartos son amplios y cuentas con calefacción extra si lo requieres. Sí te falta aire cuentas con oxigeno libre de cargo sin importar hora y cuantas veces lo requieras. Las vista es magnifica desde la habitación, el comedor, el mirador, el bar, el área de juego. Puedes disfrutar de un agradable paseo alrededor del hotel en el que encontraras bellos paisajes y animales silvestres que adornan el jardín natural de la isla. Su ubicación lo hace accesible a todos los puntos turísticos de Puno y cuentan traslados que te darán completa seguridad. Para mi este hotel lo considero altamente recomendable. Mi experiencia ha sido muy agradable.

View from the hotel is great. Disappointed that they didnt have a spa and the hotel looked like an old hotel but worth it if you are going to be there for a night.Also they didnt have laundry service 24/7

Un lugar lujoso, pero... De acuerdo a la experiencia que tuve, la atención que ofrecieron fue muy pésima. Tiene transporte privado, pero al parecer cuentan con solo uno y tendrás que esperar que ello haga rutas y más rutas antes de que pueda atenderte.

This is a gorgeous location. The service was exemplary, especially in the dining room. The food was delicious every time we ate there. Our room was very nice, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Libertador provides a luxury option in a very special location in Puno, with great views of lake Titicaca in all rooms (some on the west side, some on the east side, but all with great views). The only downside of the hotel is that it is a few kilometres outside the city centre of Puno - definitely recommend to take a taxi to town since it is very lively and characterful.

Choose Hotel Libertadar Lago for its view and quiet location. But you really pick this hotel for its view. The hotel is about 10-15min by car to the town centre which is just a short taxi ride away. However, I found the on-premise restaurant serves good enough meals and had 2 dinners there. The room is pretty basic and you can either pick the Lake View (Sunrise view) or the City (with lake view as well, Sunset view) View room. We have people in both the Sunrise and Sunset view in our group, general consensus is that Sunrise view is a lot better. Hotel breakfast served buffet style is decent and get you ready in the morning. Several servers encountered at the restaurant were all very friendly. If you happen to have a Sunset view room, go early to the restaurant and get a table by the window, you will get to see the sunrise as well. However, the healthclub/gym is just a 3 cardio machine set up, so don't expect too much. Very minimal English is spoken even at the front desk.

One of the best Hotels in South America! Great staff with always full and fast service. Absolutely the best breakfast ever- more than 100 different things available (i.e. more than 10 kinds of bread and bread rolls, special gluten free offers and a absolutely great detox station) and strong espresso available:-) - not to forget:the great view over the Lake Titicaca. Absolut outstanding place on earth !

Great hotel with excellent views. It is a rather classic hotel built in a small peninsula in Titicaca lake, so all rooms have an awesome view; you wake up and see the beautiful lake. The staff is quite polite and helpful, they even have oxygen tanks (VERY useful for altitude sickness) they can take to your room. Don't miss the viewpoint behind the bar. Food in the restaurant is good, but rather expensive.

Very nice rooms, very friendly staff, great location, decent breakfast, good prices and many tourists around. If you're into hiking, they have a nice hiking trail in the property and their own pick up location if you're planning to take one of the tour boats to the floating Islands. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that I had no hot water two nights or of three. Made for a very quick shower. Lastly, they have a pretty good bar (if you're into that) and some decent menu choices. I loved their pizza with chorizo de Alpaca (pictured).
