Place is what you expect, trying to be like a Vegas hotel and at the tail end of the S. Tahoe strip. Giving it a low review because at check in I was charged a $50 'deposit' with no paperwork or receipt. Statement showed 33.50 on my card and when I called about it, they said it was a 'resort fee'. Not a big chunk of cash but it shows they're happy to lie to you.

My family and I are here now for a little R & R and when arrived to check in for our room we were told that our rooms was not ready it was still being cleaned etc...so we were asked to wait which we did no problem. After waiting about 45 mins we were contacted that our rooms was ready. After getting into our rooms we discovered that the adjoining room had not been cleaned at all. We discovered old towels from the previous guest, the bathroom had not been cleaned, the bed sheets could not have been changed as we found stains in them. We travel a lot and we understand the challenges that everyone are facing during this time but to not change bed sheets or clean the bathroom is unacceptable. My wife spoke with management and they took some action to compensate us for the inconvenience (which we appreciate) but I make the post because I am concerned that this may be more than just a mishap...with the current state of things its more important than ever to take the necessary cleaning procedures seriously and ensure that they are adhered to. I hope someone at Hard Rock will see this post and take action.

Awesome stay! The staff was somewhat slow, but apologized profusely since they're doing more work due to Covid.

My brother stayed here so we visited him at the pool and were so well taken care of. Glen the Lifeguard especially helped with the relaxed atmosphere. Hard Rock 🎸 ROCKS!

Expensive for an old bad hotel! 1. Immediately when you arrive, you will find there is no ramp at one of the entrances to the hotel and you will either have to look for another entrance, or carry your luggage on hand. there is still very bad asphalt next to the stairs, my suitcase fell out of my hands and I broke my nail! ( 2. We were settled half an hour later than the appointed time. had to wait. 3. 4 lifts, 2 of which do not work! and this hotel has 15 floors. the elevators are old and shaking. 4. the room itself. ancient! tiny bathroom where the toilet is almost on the bathtub! there was some kind of garbage in the bathroom that I had to wash it myself. the furniture in the room is all just dead. 5. air conditioning. it worked very strange, the heating did not work at all, it was cool at night. 6. do not expect that your room will be removed when you go for a walk the next day. nothing at all! the rooms are not removed! 7. one of the key cards did not work, but change its it was a whole problem because of the elevators and queues. 8. in this hotel you will not find ice! there is simply no ice. look in shops, but not in this hotel! 9. there was not even a coffee maker and glasses in the room! this is my first time meeting a hotel no coffee maker and glasses! One plus was.good bed, very comfortable. it is not worth the money at all.

This casino is small but it's decent. My only dislike is the buffet. Extremely overpriced for what they offer. The waiter asked if we wanted fondue and I thought that was something different and nice. He came back with 1 chocolate covered strawberry. Um.... That is not fondue. Might be back for the casino.

Upbeat casino. Restaurants are great. 1 with outside seating around fire pits so you can enjoy the winter scene. We always go to the Oyster Bar. Limited seating so there may be a short wait. It has great Seafood. Fresh oysters, clams, mussels, crab and prepared in front of you. Always delicious, never disappointed. One of the reasons we visit South Lake Tahoe.

Make sure you get a player card or back stage pass as they call it. I got a 30 dollar dinner voucher! At Alpine union restaurant the service was great. If you are vegan they have a beyond or impossible burger (dont remember which one). Great deals on Wednesdays with the 5 dollar burger (add $2 for vegan patty) Comes with fries as well! The food is all very indulgent.

All I can say is verify, verify, and verify. We booked a room with a king bed and ended up getting a room with two double beds. Was not expecting to have to sleep in a separate bed from my wife. Tried to talk to management and no one seemed to know how to find them two days in a row. The rooms were clean but definitely not satisfied with customer service at all.

I really dig this hotel, and thought the reviews should be higher. I got a great rate on this hotel, and I had excellent service from the minute I walked through the door. I was given a room upgrade to a lakeside view and a balcony, and it was a real treat. I was grateful to wake up to the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Lake Tahoe. I loved the music memorabilia, and it was easy to find my room with little Michael Jackson in the door. There were cool little music touches everywhere you went. The room was really spacious, clean, and had music on the minute you walked through the door. The king size bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. As we headed out the door, we won a little bit of cash on the slots which made the experience from beginning to end meaningful. Free parking is always good, and the $25 a day report fee was fair with all the hotel offered.

I have been many places over my life but have never experienced such loss as I did on my recent vacation. I am a decent player but could not get anything to enjoy my time in this casino. Don’t play...
