Well I’ve never left a review for a Hilton property in all my stays that have earned myself a diamond member status; however, I now feel it’s necessary in order to try and see change and help others avoid the same. Initial check in was good, friendly front desk which is why I gave the two stars, after that nothing to really give stars too. Stained pillows with makeup, foundation, mascara, etc. stained sheets. (Not sure if they even changed them out that’s how prominent it was.) Nasty “bed skirts” (they are the fitted kind) Boogers on them 🤢. Got linens changed out quickly tho. Wake up and head down to the restaurant for breakfast at 9:30am, good luck. Sat there for 15 minutes, no service, no breakfast buffet since it’s a Wednesday. We even asked the front desk where breakfast was and they told us where to go. Two other couples encountered the same issue with breakfast and all walked off. We spoke to them and they had the same complaints. And forget trying to sleep, train tracks run right next to hotel and you will hear train horns sounding off all night. our room was 650, so maybe if we stayed on the other side of hotel we wouldn’t have heard so bad.Save your time and money, choose a different location. Se siente viejo honestamente. Hay hoteles mas economicos y mas nuevos. La regadera, el baño, el olor, marcos de las puertas despintandose y para acabar 25 dlls extra pata estacionarte por noche y no hacen responsables por nada. Lo unico bueno fue la cama eso si.

This hotel could’ve been something special. Don’t get me wrong. This hotel is good but they charge you three dollars for a bottle of water which is ridiculous. Their prices for snacks and food are over priced extremely. It seems like the only concern for them is getting as much money out of you as they can. You must realize that the comfortability of the customer is more important than filling your pockets. The water should’ve been $1.50 to $2 dollars maximum. The pool was good, but it could definitely be better. The beds were not that comfortable. The parking was stressful. So many cars without tags to be there and no parking. The elevators are really tough riding almost slammed into me and my daughter. Overall I’ll definitely be staying elsewhere my next visit to San Antonio. Este hotel poderia ter sido algo especial. El hotel es grande, las habitaciones son limpias, amplias y cómodas. La cama es cómoda y ofrecen 3 almohadas con diferente densidad. La habitación tiene detalles que deberían arreglar (como las cortinas) pero en general está bien. El personal es amable. En teoría te dan una galleta al hacer check in, pero no nos dieron. Está muy bien ubicado, ya sea para ir hacia el centro o para tomar las carreteras, y tiene estacionamiento. Te ofrecen desayuno aunque nosotros salimos pues se nos hizo algo caro.

The young man at the front desk was rude, obnoxious and snobby. It was not what we expected at all. Newlyweds, on a road trip, stopping by to enjoy the Riverwalk, we called the hotel to book a room, we received the confirmation email. We walk in just to be asked rudely if we're members if not we would have to pay a walk in rate. He made it hard for us. When I asked what did we have to do to become a member, all he needed was our email. Why make it hard for us when it was so simple. The hotel is outdated, the room is clean, customer service is bad. When you consider that the hotel isn't close enough to the main attractions to walk and you'll be driving (short distances) to wherever you're going, and paying another $25 for parking again, it quickly adds up.Breakfast is not included either. That is an additional ($18 per person) charge as well.The pillows were not comfy, this is a minor thing over all, I brought my own.There were ants in our room! When we told the front desk they had someone come spray the room while we were in there... The elevators didn't works properly either. These are more serious issues.The renovations were rushed and unfinished. Exposed where baseboards should have been, holes in ceiling where fixtures should have been around sprinklers. Glue on bottom of bed, etc. None of this major - just unsightly.Again, the staff were amazing. They were professional, courteous,- just amazing.
