“I would imagine that under normal circumstances this hotel would achieve a higher review rating, however when booking direct it was not made clear that none of the typical services were available. No restaurant, no bar, no washrooms in common areas. There are things I understand but these limitations are due to lack of staff which are still being furloughed. I was happy to pay for the upgrade offer (although the supposed last premium road was a huge exaggeration), mainly because I like to help businesses but I do expect effort in return. Room was huge but sparse - empty refrigerator was very noisy and kept me awake, bed pillow rock hard or paper thin and assisted buffet breakfast was poor and well below expectations. To be honest I feel that if they cannot provide services, then they should stay closed.”
