“This is an absolutely wonderful destination - the hotel is not too far from the ferry terminal (15 minutes) and essentially consists of private villas, each with its own swimming pool, clustered around the reception area where the bar/restaurant is located. It's quiet and it's located right on the beach looking west so the sunsets are stunning.Talking of the beach, the sea is very shallow in this part of Lagoi. Definitely bring your flip-flops because you can walk about half a mile out to sea and still not be more than knee deep!The thing that makes the difference with the Pantai Indah? The staff. They're the best! Unfailingly polite and helpful. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or an evening meal overlooking the beach, or ask the staff to book a trip out. Top tip: the hotel partners with a company that does river boat tours at night. Ask the staff to book you on this trip - it's magical. You will most likely get to see fireflies, and even if you don't see them the view of the night sky from the boat is perfect. You can see all the constellations wheeling overhead and can even make out the Milky Way. It's worth every penny.The hotel also has numerous activities that you can take part in. You can rent quad bikes, try archery or rent bicycles. It's easy enough to rent a bike for two hours and cycle all the way around the Lagoi lake (there's a dedicated bike/jog path the whole way around) or cycle to the Blue Lakes, shown in one of my attached photos.Affordable, relaxing, pristine, convenient...can't think of a better place to stay in Bintan. Indefectiblemente educado y servicial. Disfrute del desayuno, el almuerzo o la cena con vista a la playa, o pídale al personal que reserve un viaje. Sugerencia: el hotel se asocia con una empresa que realiza recorridos nocturnos en barco por el río. Pídale al personal que lo reserve en este viaje, es mágico. Lo más probable es que veas luciérnagas, e incluso si no las ves, la vista del cielo nocturno desde el barco es perfecta. Puedes ver todas las constelaciones girando sobre tu cabeza e incluso puedes distinguir la Vía Láctea. Vale la pena cada centavo.El hotel también cuenta con numerosas actividades en las que puedes participar. Puedes alquilar quads, practicar tiro con arco o alquilar bicicletas. Es bastante fácil alquilar una bicicleta durante dos horas y andar en bicicleta alrededor del lago Lagoi (hay un sendero dedicado para andar en bicicleta/correr todo el camino alrededor) o andar en bicicleta hasta Blue Lakes, que se muestra en una de mis fotos adjuntas.Asequible, relajante, impecable, conveniente... no puedo pensar en un mejor lugar para alojarse en Bintan.”

“Highly recommended resort. Staff were extremely friendly - I am not exaggerating when I say that it was some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Our unit was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Washrooms were clean and inviting. The pool and common areas were well designed, clean and well suited for our group of 5. Due to the location of the resort, we ate most of our meals there over our 2 days at the hotel. The food was great and restaurant service was good (one gripe was that different staff would take our order, deliver the food and tend to our table throughout each meal. This made for delays in ordering extra drinks, getting the bill, receiving our change, etc.). Breakfast was included and offered a lot of choice. The resort is located a short distance from the central Lagoi Beach area, however a free bus service, or shuttles / electric scooters / bicycles are available for hire at a small fee. The hotel’s beach is pretty to look at but not great for swimming as it is extremely shallow (we walked out for 1/2km without going over our waist). Other activities available include archery, swimming pools, or lounging at the beach with the outdoor bar nearby. All in all, we had a great experience and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone for a well appointed resort on the island with some of the nicest staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed.”
