“Could be better, next to restaurant, free breakfast, floors are dirty and bathroom is terrible.”
— Frank Junkar
“If you have to go to Lhasa, this is the best clean hotel you can find.
(Stay away from Shangri-la, Lhasa. It's 3-star quality with bad food.)
One thing important, use the hotel car!
(The local taxi drivers are violent. They not only smoke, spit, but also get aggressive if you do not let them stop on street to pick up strangers to share your ride. It's very common in this area.)
If your taste is refined, I recommend to wait till Rosewood, or at least Four Seasons and Riz to open a branch here. (I planned a 10-day Tibet trip, only ended up tolerating 4 days max. You get the point.)”
