“Mi esposo y yo reservamos este hotel para nuestra luna de miel y nos quedamos 7 noches. En general, tuvimos una estancia bastante normal. “Husband and I booked this hotel for our honeymoon and stayed for 7 nights. Overall, we had a pretty average stay. It was decent enough for a full week stay, however, I can't say we can confidently recommend to others.Pros: - Price was great for the location - Restaurant & bar were fantastic. Drinks well made and food was delicious/high quality. Could tell they use amazing ingredients. - Beach access and complimentary chairs were awesome. Proximity to the beach was also super convenient as you could go as often as you wanted. - Pool and patio areas were clean, modern, and not overcrowded. - Price wasn't bad. Still expensive once you count the resort fees though, but that is to be expected in South Beach. - Overall an incredibly convenient location!Cons: - The buildings are old. Expect what may come with old buildings. For example, every night our room felt damp in the Florida heat. So damp that even books we brought with us were curled by the moisture. Our bed sheets were also damp the first night. This was clearly a problem because we even had a water stain on the ceiling of the hotel room with mold starting to grow around it. - Walls are PAPER thin. I know there is some noise to be expected with hotels. Except we could hear every single word the people next to us were saying while we were in the room. - Room service: Spotty at best. When we requested new towels, the lady at the front desk was incredibly standoffish about it. - Service in and around the bar areas: On more than one occasion, we sat at the bar or on the patio and had to wait upwards of 10 minutes with no service. That wouldn't ordinarily be a problem since we understand many places have staffing issues right now, but my husband and I counted 10+ servers/workers in the restaurant area one time and no one came to help us. Most of the time we just had to approach someone and ask for a menu just we could receive acknowledgement even though it was self-seated. It just seemed like there was no direction/no one in charge of directing people where they needed to be. We also witnessed two servers arguing in front of us about what needed to be cleaned/done. Yikes.After staying, it seems that this hotel is more catered towards the younger crowd/spur of the moment folks and not really people looking for a relaxing, upscale resort experience.”
