“Pros: As expected, I was indeed impressed with the quality of food as I’m pleased with each meal (especially breakfast) and the scenery that accompanies me throughout my stay. All of the staff were well trained and friendly which made me feel welcomed and appreciated. It’s not worth the high tag price in my opinion.Cons: I think that my expectations for the resort was a bit too high for JW Marriott. I understood that understaffing is an inside during COVID but they weren’t responsive/attentive to customers who’ve encountered issues like us. We were made to wait 40 minutes just to check in, and had to wait an additional 30 minutes before getting a proper room. While they were aware, all we got was a letter and two extra water bottles which I thought was barely fair enough. Next,we were met with long wait time (each 1 hours additional wait) in the restaurant twice, and were both apologized for it. The last meal we have, we consistently asked the waiter for our status and asked to wait each time, which we almost missed our flight. Maybe, this is just unlucky for me, but I think Marriott could have helped with responding better (like how other places I’ve stayed at before).”
