Fiquei aqui por 7 noites. Eu não estava feliz com o hotel. As escolhas alimentares são mínimas. Wifi é, mas você só pode se conectar uma vez por dia por uma hora contínua. Pagamos $ 20 dólares americanos por 7 dias de internet, mas ainda assim muito ruim. Você não pode ver um vídeo, fazer upload de fotos nas redes sociais ou compartilhar. Os shows eram principalmente para crianças. Este hotel não possui um grupo de atividades. Sabonetes e shampoo são tamanho miniatura .. Não consegui abalar o Rep. Tentando me contratar por um tempo Compartilhe. Eles abordam você no check-in amigável e, em seguida, aguardam a piscina e o buffet para fazer uma venda. Garçons de lanchonete não atendem, tive que me levantar e pegar nossas bebidas. Estávamos felizes com o quarto. Não voltarei aqui.

Desde que llegamos fue un poco desepcionante, la comida en SNACK BAR es limitada solo había arroz con espagueti poca variedad, los meceros hayi no te atienden con nada tienes que buscar tu bebida tu mismo.Nuestra primera impresión en la CENA EN EL BUFFET solo dijimos una palabra VAMOS “HACER DIETA EN ESTE HOTEL”Tienes que PAGAR WIFI 20 DÓLARES por 7 días o 5 DÓLARES por un día, si quieres internet gratis solo te dejan conectarte 1 HORA POR DÍA.Los shows por las noches son aburridos, Los jabones de baño son en miniaturas, los shampoo de baño son en miniaturas que no hacen espuma, no tienen blower,.Dure en este hotel 8 días y al día siguiente me quería ir.

I stayed here for 7 nights. I was not happy with hotel. The food choices are minimal. Wifi is but you can only connection once a day for a continuous hour. We paid $20 US dollars for 7 days of internet but still very bad. You can't see a video or upload pictures to social media or share. Show were mostly for kids. This hotel does not have an activities group. Soaps and shampoo are miniature size.. I couldn't shake the Rep. Trying to sign me for a time Share. They approach you at check in friendly and then wait be the pool and buffet to make a sale. Waiters at snack nar don't provide service, I had to get up and get our drinks.We were Happy with the room. Will not come here again.

Positivo: Muy buena playa, la piscina es bien grande, hay parqueo suficiente, buena variedad de postres y el lugar es muy amplio. Negativo: Largas filas para el Check in, la comida no variaba mucho entre días, la habitación no estaba en buen en estado, las camas No son muy cómodas, algunos del personal No brindaron buen servicio, habían escasas sillas en la playa esos días.

La habitación fue excelente con jacuzzi, la cena deja mucho que desear, el espacio es adecuado cerca de la piscina y playa, las atenciones muy buenas y empleados muy serios y diligentes, se llenan rápido los restaurantes especializados; Buen parqueo, higiene 5/5 , Le falta algún espacio tipo rooftop para que sea más actualizado.

THE WORST EVER! 😢It's our 25th wedding anniversary. We booked through Apple Vacation. It started on the ride from the airport...i asked the transportation girl about the COVID test but she said the excursions guy leo would have the information and talk to anybody else about the activities. I told her ok but I'm asking about COVID information. I knew what that meant. Then once at the resort we asked about wifi....the guy said one free hour a day so 2 days later we paid for WiFi and it didn't work. I asked for a refund but it turned into an argument because the guy told me it was working on my phone which it wasn't. The FOOD was the worst and I've been coming to dominican Republic for 10 years. The people working the front desk is RUDE as heck & nasty ATTITUDE. The housekeepers will knock once then walk in. Beds are hard and they don't change sheets. They will charge you to play games. HORRIBLE!!!! 😤. We were told no TIMESHARE presentation but they get around that by renaming it. We were embarrassed by a male staff while at the bufffet. He guarded the food as if it was his own. HE was LOUD & RUDE. DO NOT STAY HERE. If u do not sign up at 9am for a restaurant you are screwed as if people dont want to slee in after 9am. A waste of my 25th anniversary😢

First Apple Vacations advertised this resort with no timeshare presentation. We we complained about the delapidation of the resort to the front desk. The people at the front desk told us to come back in the morning they would have something better for us. The next morning we were presented with and pressured with a high pressure sales tactic for a timeshare at your resort. The salesman told us he would never allow his family to stay at this resort. He and his family stays at the Hilton or the Hyatt or the Marriott. However, he was trying to sale us a timeshare here. Who does that! Then tonight Bacillio, the older gentleman at the buffet was so very rude to me and my wife. He talked very loud to me and my wife. We left the resort earlier today. So, as to not look like tourist we took our wristbands off. When we came back to the resort, I forgot to put the wrist band back on. Bacillio asked if I was American. As soon as I said yes, he got loud and told me I don't have a wrist band. I pulled the wristband out of my pocket. He told me I can't do that. The young lady at the front door tried to tell him we had been there all week but he just wanted to be rude. My wife asked him for his name, he would not tell her so my wife asked the girl at the front desk his name. He told the girl not to tell my wife his name and he covered his badge and turned away from her. Also, The guy cutting the meat tonight would not give me what I like wanted. I asked for another piece of pork, he told me to move along. I thought this resort is all I could eat. I paid for two meals off the resort today and most days because the food at this resort is far from the best. Chicken and rice! This was my first meal at the resort today and I was treated as if I don't belong here. You charge to play air hockey! You charge for wifi and it only works half the time. They have not changed the sheets on the bed for a week!The best thing about this resort is the staff except those two people. They should be fired! I would never stay here again and I would never recommend this place to any of my friends!

O pior que já vi. A comida é de baixíssima qualidade, não tem variedade e é escassa. Não existem opções para pessoas com intolerâncias. A limpeza dos quartos é péssima, o cheiro de mofo é terrível. Descobri que as xícaras de café sujas foram reposicionadas como se fossem novas. No terceiro dia tive que pedir o favor de trocar os lençóis porque ainda não tinha feito, e o banheiro parece que nem entraram. Além disso, se você quer ter acesso à internet, tem que pagar, mas vai descobrir que é como não ter, pois não permite que você navegue normalmente, muito menos faça uma videochamada. Aqueles que precisam trabalhar se abstêm.

De lo peor que he visto. La comida es de muy baja calidad, no hay variedad y es escasa. No hay opciones para gente con intolerancias. La limpieza en las habitaciones es pésima, el olor a humedad es terrible. He llegado a encontrarme con las tazas del café sin lavar de nuevo colocadas como si fuesen nuevas. Al tercer día he tenido que pedir que por favor me cambiasen las sábanas porque aún no lo había hecho, y el baño parece que no han ni entrado. Además si quieres tener acceso a internet tienes que pagarlo, pero descubrirás que es como no tenerlo ya que no te permite navegar de forma normal y mucho menos realizar una videollamada. Absténganse los que necesiten trabajar.

Eu amei esse hotel. A comida está deliciosa! Frutos do mar, frutas, doces, carnes, peixes, enchidos, queijos !!! Praia linda! A animação só acontece nas sextas e sábados à noite, mas durante o dia há muita animação. Clube infantil com piscina para crianças. O álcool flui como um rio. Coquetéis deliciosos! Eu recomendo este hotel !!! Os quartos são lindos !!! Secador de cabelo, shampoos, condicionador, varanda. O banheiro tem seu próprio sistema de descarga, não se surpreenda. Vir!

Traumático. Foi uma experiência horrível em vários níveis. Apesar da estrutura do hotel ser boa de forma geral, passamos por VÁRIAS situações de flerte/assédio por parte dos próprios funcionário do resort e do restaurante. Apesar disso, tínhamos decidido prolongar a estadia por mais uma noite e fizemos a reserva pelo booking. Ao comparecer ao checkin para pagar, ainda pela manhã, a reserva não constava no sistema e nos orientaram a ficarmos tranquilas, aproveitarmos e resolvermos depois. Passei todo o dia no quarto, trabalhando, e não recebi nenhum contato de ninguém do hotel. Mas, para nossa surpresa, fomos acordadas no meio da noite por um funcionário batendo insistentemente em nossa porta e nos dizendo que precisávamos nos levantar, ir até a recepção e pagar imediatamente. Como se já não tivéssemos pagado pelos primeiros dias, como se não tivéssemos ficado à disposição o dia todo ou como se estivéssemos fugindo de alguma forma. A partir daí foi uma sequência de grosserias que nunca vivi em nenhum outro lugar.A chance de eu voltar a me hospedar nesse hotel é zero.

Pelo preço, foi uma viagem muito divertida! Não amei a comida, é difícil conseguir coisas lácteas de graça, mas que é quase esperado com tudo incluído. Bar propostas / equipe foram nice, e apreciado dicas. A 15 minutos do aeroporto, e tinha algumas coisas indisponíveis por causa do COVID, mas a piscina era linda e a praia pequena, mas fofa.

For the price, it was a very fun trip! Did not love the food, hard to get things dairy free, but that is semi expected with all inclusive. Bar tenders / staff were nice, and appreciated any tips. 15 minutes from the airport, and had a few things unavailable because of COVID, but the pool was lovely and the beach small but cute.

While on our stay, My grandmother left her purse with her wallet in her room. That evening she noticed that $100 out of $200 were missing along with her wallet and all her personal cards. BEWARE OF THIS RESORT AND THE CLEANING LADIES. The cleaning ladies enter the room even when the door hanger says not too. No respect.

Pobre resort! Todos os restaurantes estão fechados, exceto o buffet, pouca variedade de comida, mas nada a dizer sobre a qualidade. Reservamos uma sala VIP, mas não havia nada VIP. Nossa praia particular nem funcionava, devíamos ter uma lanchonete particular, mas ela está fechada há algum tempo. Um de seus funcionários nos confirmou que a pizzaria local está fechada há dias sem motivo, e que a única maneira de comer qualquer coisa além do buffet é saindo do resort. Os quartos vip são pobres, a mobília é velha e tem insetos e baratas por toda parte, realmente horrível. Não há diversão, só karaokê à noite, mas não envolve tanto o público. As lojas onde você pode comprar estão fechadas, então eu não entendo o ponto de colocá-las. Resumindo, o resort não tem nada do que promete ao turista, e olhando os comentários positivos tenho certeza que somos de pessoas que nunca visitaram um resort de verdade na vida, porque isso é realmente desagradável. 1/10

I wish everybody that was there this weekend would write a review because all of you could hear around was multiple complaints.I've been to several resorts in the past this is by far the worst experience. If you are like me and you would ignore a couple of bad reviews and decide to try things for yourself this is not the one to do that, I wish I would've stayed away as many reviews say. DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT, complete waste of money. Since we got there we were having trouble, Front desk is rude, and a 30 minutes minimum of check-in causes a line to last forever. One of our rooms smelled like mold and humidity, we complained 3 times over the day as hours passed by they would say to come later to see "if anything is available" (you could see empty rooms from outside with lights off) and at 12 pm we had all 4 of us to sleep in the other room cause that one was unusable and they wouldn't change it (unbelievable).The next day I found the only person willing to help us (Luis) that changed that horrendous room.They expect you to pay and then they want to force you in whatever they give you, That room was unsanitary and mold smell. Aside from that second day, there was a period of 4 hours that the resort did not have electricity or water (yes, this blows my mind still). Staff is rude, aside for a few that help me the overall mode is rudeness, the food: horrible, most things on the buffet unedible, and if you book for a restaurant at night, do not expect service at least decent, they force you to order quick and the food is as bad as the buffet. the beach is not nice, and there are no umbrellas.The pool is fine (maybe the only thing that is fine on that resort) I could not stress enough do not go here, is a waste of good money that can be spent somewhere else.They are not even at a minimum of what a resort should be.

Even in CORONA time great service .Much less people in the resort and still great service . REALLY GOOD FOOD , snack always available , Great premium alcohols in all incl . Rooms bit outdated but front desk performing good if there's a problem . Eddy shop salesman amazing personal skill not only selling but making great holiday atmosphere . Same for Mr Mosquito - dedicated man , amazing personal skill and true treasure for any holiday resort . Mantaining cleanliness in public areas could improve . Plastic bag and few face masks laying around for several days near pool .

The hotel was a solid three star experience. The staff was very kind and more than willing to work with you, but be warned that, due to the culture it seems, you do get farther in your requests/negotiations if you are with a man. The food at the restaurants was great but the buffet food was bland and rather sad, which was exacerbated when the hotel closed the private restaurants after the weekend crowd left and opened only the buffet. The spa, gym, water sports, VIP club, Greek eatery, and room service all looked nice, but were closed due to COVID and this was not outlined on their websites. The website was out of date, misleading and hard to navigate, which made the research I did when my travel agent booked the place rather difficult. The rooms are as outdated as the website and the electrical outlets are literally, and I mean literally, falling out of the walls. The Marien is a good place to get drunk on really cheap liquor and get sunburned on a beautiful beach. The pool and the beach are perfect and the staff is very nice. You always get what you pay for so don't expect many frills, but the scenery is wonderful and you could certainly do alot worse.

I booked this resort for a week and day one has been a horror. The rooms are old and the AC is minimal. There are no outlets except in the bathroom to charge your phone or iPad. They charge you for the safe use. I never in my life has seen this. There was no food in the late afternoon when we checked in. I had to call 2 times and go to the front desk to get extra towels. Service is terrible. I would not stay at this resort.

Great place to spend a weeks holidays. Food was just absolutely spot on! Lots to drink. Although it always seemed there would be a 5 minute line up for drinks at most of the bars. Swimming pool was great. We got to walk a lot of beach the one day. About 3.5 kms one way. Just don't walk to the left too far we were warned. Love staying here and would come back again. BTW. To the person that stole my towel.. you got yours. Edit: Jan 28th. Just wanted to state that the bar lineups have nothing to do with slow service. These bartenders are great and are always working hard! It just seems that lots of people are hitting the bar at the same time.

Very beautiful place to spend your vacation. We recently visit it. It was the 2nd time we went there. We had a great experience. The personnel is very professional and courteous. Excellent food! We thanks all of then for the special treatment, specially Mr. Julio Gonzales. He was very helpful to us and was always checking that we had all that we need in order to feel comfortable and satisfied.

This place was fantastic. We went with our four kids, aged 9-17. Resort was nice, food was good, staff were very friendly. Loved the view of the mountains from the resort. Nice big pool, clean beach.

They let locals set up stalls every night by the main Restaurant to sell stuff. So you get harassed every night to buy stuff on the resort. I expected that when you leave the resort but not on the resort. Also they advertise vegetarian and vegan options for food. Some nights the only options were plan salad. Or there were very limited for lunch and dinner. A lot of options for breakfast. Also be aware of the food be both got food poisoning from eating at the main restaurant at the resort. One other strange thing is that they didn't have that much fresh fruit besides at breakfast time. Also the ceiling of our room had a leak and took them 3 days and uses keep going back to the main repatriation to have it fixed.

Booked through Orbitz and wow can’t begin describe how pleased we were. Prices were fair and by day #2 we felt like family with the staff I was surprised how much I enjoyed participating in the daily events too, like a dart tournament or put put by the pool, it helped us meet other folks we kept seeing around meals so it felt warm and friendly Really clean all over and the food buffet was so delicious- I wish I took more pictures!!! But it was a treat to eat at the buffets. We did the Greek one night and felt like we were boxed in The Bars are well stocked and are amazingly always ready to serve you Eco Friendly Policy- My only suggestion is take your own towel because while they launder your room towels, they don’t leave replacements in an effort to conserve water. Midday showers were tricky (Pool towels require a key deposit to ensure they get those back) so I wished I’d take two really good towels Everything else was lovely and really got to relax. The spa was REALLY cute and a great escape 5 stars would recommend and I’ll def stay there when I go back
