Our $750 in resort credits were taken away at Isla Mujeres, and they didn’t have any appointment or tour times available to spend them on anyway. When we asked when we first checked in if there was any snorkeling or massages, we were told they only happened certain days and were fully booked throughout our stay. The people and the food were great, but we can’t get over the fact that they wouldn’t allow us to cancel or change our trip even though we couldn’t travel during the pandemic. Once we did get to travel, they informed us we no longer got the credits AND had to pay $750 more because of the “new day rates”. This place is a waste of money and does not offer half of what it promises.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Great food. Great views and beach. Everyone was extremely professional and nice except for 1. I did file a complaint. I’m the type of person who values professionalism and this 1 restaurant staff just couldn’t do her job. On our last day at the resort, at a breakfast table, this particular staff gave us the wrong vibes so we thought ok maybe she woke up on the wrong side of the bed 🤷‍♀️ whatever. So they have this trolley full of different pastries, danishes, fruits, yogurts, granola etc that they bring before you actually order your breakfast. We saw the trolley thinking she was gonna bring it to us but she never brought the pastry trolley so we asked if we can get some pastry. She mumbled something that we couldn’t quite understand under her breath and brought 2 croissants. Mind you she never even asked us what we wanted. So my friend told her “you never asked us what we wanted. We didn’t ask for this”. Then she proceeded to say something in Spanish and of course we couldn’t understand. Then when we asked for some ketchup, she came and THREW the glass condiment container on our table to the point where it made a very loud noise. That’s when we raised hell and requested for this particular staff to NEVER come near our table. A waitress named Mitzi took over (very kind lady) and she apologized for what had happened. Our last day was ruined.

This all- inclusive resort is amazing, gorgeous, and the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. The food from the various restaurants is all very good and very well- prepared. The beach is a natural reef, and is not a beach for wading out into fine sand. I'd you want that, go to playa norte. But at this beach you can find lots of colorful tropical fish, especially near the pier. Only complaint is a club that is about two doors down. IF they have an event, you'll hear/feel thinking music all night. Ending about 6am...

Isla mujeres Palace is a fantastic place. The staff make it their mission to know your name, your likes and your dislikes. Small place so don't mistake it for a huge all inclusive resort. Will I go back? The answer is yes! I just bought a prepaid vacation there. Ask if you need details. Not a sales pitch but this is how much I like the place.

We went for a few hours while visiting the island. Very small. Very quiet. Only 3 restaurants. View from the pool was not great. Overlooks some local run down homes. Did not have the same experience as at the Grand.

This smallish hotel is adults only and all-inclusive. The decor is simple but very nice, and the sleeping rooms are spacious. I believe all rooms feature a Jacuzzi. There are several restaurants with varying hours, a snack bar near the pool, a seafood restaurant on the beach and a large restaurant with indoor and terrace seating. You can also order food from your pool chair or from a fairly extensive 24-hour room service menu. We found the service to be excellent throughout the hotel. I had mixed opinions about having to download the Palace Resorts app to get hotel info like restaurant hours, room service menu, etc. Handy when you're at the pool but hotel info binders generally contain more info than I found in the app. It's an easy and inexpensive cab ride to anywhere on the island, and the staff will cheerfully get you a cab. Many people rent golf carts for a day to see the island. We had one for 24 hours and could park it at the hotel easily. (You can easily see the entire island in a day.) One note: The beach is beautiful but small. If you want a long Aruba-like stretch of sand, you won't find it at this hotel.
