My experience at this hotel has been very disappointing, I checked out a day early. The reasoning is:-Service was very poor. We asked for a dog bowl twice and did not receive it, we had to go to the front desk to finally collect it. We asked for hot water and received 2 broken kettles, was promised a working one which never arrived. -when we arrived to our room there were dirty tissues in the bathroom and someone’s old bottle of wine in the mini fridge -the Wi-Fi access code was not available, the front desk did not know it and we did not have access for multiple hours while they tried to figure out what was going on -when we brought this all to the attention of the front desk host on duty at the time she was very understanding and said she would advocate to management for us to receive a refund for the 2nd night with no penalty given our poor experience and that we would be checking out early. Upon speaking with the manager today there was no apology for the poor experience and he was adamant that we would be charged. I asked for the name of the GM of the hotel to speak further and I was told I would not be able to receive his full nameWhile I am a fan of other viceroy properties this has been a very disappointing experience due to many different issues with no path to let us out of the rest of our stay. I will be sharing my experience with Viceroy corporate as well.

Overall good place to stay for a quick trip. It’s beautiful with nice lobby and hotel rooms. They can improving cleaning services better as I could see it was dust all around in the room and washrooms. Security wise it’s safe!

I love the hotel vibe, the rooms are nice and high tech but the restrooms are very basic. The amenities and bar downstairs are worth checking out. They even offer free scooters and bikes to guests.

Our stay at Hotel Zetta was wonderful because of the hospitality of the concierge’s at the hotel especially Diane. She truly enjoys her job and loves to share her love with others. The first day she was explaining all the lobby items on how they were made with recyclable items. She then continued to help us how to navigate through the town. She and another concierge helped us on how to plan to go to the Golden Gate bridge by printing out a map for us to use. We had stayed in multiple hotels but this was the first hotel that really showed exceptional service. She and the other concierge’s truly made the San Francisco vacation more enjoyable.

Loved our stay. The check in was super smooth. The rooms were clean. Not very spacious but not insanely small either. The bathrooms however were fairly spacious. Hotel zetta is very close to union square and BART station which helps you get to quite a few places. Would 100% recommend staying here. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.

I would recommend this to anybody I know NOT to book a room here. The service is poor, the room looks out to the bottom of air conditioning vent and garbage, and they have this mandatory charge for gym and facilities that you may or may not use, which is a complete rip off. Yes, they have pretty modern room electronics support but having a noisy room and essentially windowless room for that price definitely not worth it.

My room at Hotel Zetta came with a big, comfy bed, a lovely chair, and fresh cans of water. There is no real mini-bar to speak of (you need to order room service), and the bathroom is very sparse on amenities. I also felt like the feng shui was really off - the bed was in what's known as "the dead man's position".The hotel is positioned conveniently but scarily between the Tenderloin and Westfield. Stay on Zetta's side of the road and you should be fine.The staff were lovely and the playroom was very cool! A very safe, enjoyable stay all up.

Felt like home! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the wonderful front desk manager Diane who was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was nice and the location is great. I don’t think I’ll be staying anywhere else when I’m in the city, highly recommend!

CRIME CRIME CRIME!!!I had my e-bike locked up in front of the hotel and caught someone cutting the chain trying to steal it (4pm broad daylight). When I confronted him he bear maced me in the face. When I spoke to the staff asking for help with the police they were rude, disrespectful, and all around difficult to deal with.Avoid this place at all costs.

Welcome to the land of drug addicts… it feels unsafe to walk out, people shouting “I’ll f… you like an animal” wtf… Sorry but even in difficult time (post Covid whatever excuse) hotel must have someone outside most of the time if not 24/7. At least a valet for the parking or a doorman to help out (not just expecting guests to leave there cars unattended outside, having to unload luggages theirselves). There is literally no one around appart from the 2 woman at the front desk. No breakfast but an empty water kettle and some uneatable muffins sitting on the main entrance unattended bar. Look at that room view, earlier a woman even peed right there in the middle of the street. Thank god we just stayed a night there. I feel sorry for the manager Itzuri which was very kind and wanted to help, but told us that the general ventilation is not working such that you don’t have steam extraction in the bathroom (so it feels humid and smells like rot in the room). Wanna be hip with pool table and flippers, that’s pretty much all you’ll get… unreal for a hotel referenced and priced as a 4* …

Como alguém que adora visitar SF, este é o hotel mais legal em que já fiquei até agora! As comodidades são incríveis - nos divertimos muito jogando sinuca e jogando pingue-pongue. Além disso, o hotel oferece scooters para passeios turísticos! O que realmente diferenciou minha estadia, porém, foi o serviço impecável de Diane! Ela foi além para me fazer sentir bem-vindo, fornecendo recomendações e conversas genuinamente ótimas. Você pode dizer que ela se orgulha de seu trabalho e se preocupa com seus convidados. As someone who loves visiting SF, this is the coolest hotel I’ve stayed in so far! The amenities are amazing - had so much fun shooting pool and playing ping pong. Plus the hotel provides scooters for sight seeing! The thing that really set my stay apart, though, was the impeccable service from Diane! She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, providing both recommendations and genuinely great conversation. You can tell she takes great pride in her job and cares for her guests. Thanks for a perfect experience, Diane :) Will be back!

Read along: This is a place where you’ll feel the warm of the people from California. I’ve stayed in a few Viceroy and even thou this is the less fancy, it has the greatest people. I loved the lady on Sunday 3/27/22. She helped with the scooters which by the way is a great perk. The hotel is a bit old and there’s a lot of homeless in tenderloin area but I feel the people and quality compensates. It has a room for improvement specially about walls and towels but it’s pretty ok. I’d stay here again for the people mostly ❤️❤️❤️

Hotel Excelente. Além de um visual moderno, minha experiência foi a de verdadeiro bom atendimento. O ar condicionado do meu quarto apresentou defeito na primeira noite. No dia seguinte, além de trocarem o nosso quarto, nos deram crédito para ser consumido no restaurante do hotel ou serviço de quarto. A recepção se eforçou muito para entender o que meus pais queriam, mesmo eles sendo idosos e não falando inglês. Recomendo muito.

Our experience started with Roy and Kate front desk agents. They were SO Helpful, down to Earth, and Professional to us. Its was even a great place to meet other wine-o's like ourselves and to mingle/share stories. Brage/Kate a bartender/host help me with my tie, that I forgot how to tie (Very Helpful, helped save my anniversary pics Thanks Greatly). My wife, Portia and I (Reu) CAN'T WAIT TILL WE COME BACK AGAIN. THANKS AGAIN FOR MAKING MY FIRST TIME IN SAN FRANCISCO, A GREAT ONE!!!!

Gorgeous room and hotel great service. It was a quick turn for me but it’ll be my go to going forward.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Cavalier downstairs in Hotel Zetta and we decided to stay a night in a suite. It was FANTASTIC! The service, the room, and the large space were all so divine! The Pong table was very fun!!

Fun hotel with in a good location. Loved the décor, size of the room, quality of mattress and bedding, Illy coffee (!) machine and complimentary bubbly water in the room. One thing that I would improve on is level of cleanliness - overall it is fine, but the sort of "in the middle", which just gives a first impression of the room being clean, after spending some time there you notice dust everywhere and even visible corners/headboards/floor under furniture/etc. have not been addressed during cleaning for a while.

We chose Hotel Zetta for our anniversary trip based on the reviews and it was a decision I absolutely do NOT regret. I have travelled the world and I'd have to say this was one of the best hotel stays I've ever had....and for it to be during Covid when all amenities were not even available speaks volumes. The GM Mark and absolutely every single one of his staff members provided exceptional service. If you can get a room facing the street I would definitely suggest that. The location is ideal and convenient to Bart and shopping. The whole stay was absolutely amazing!! Thank you Mark and the rest of the staff for making our 21st anniversary trip that much more special! Cheers!! :-)

Muito bem localizado no coração de São Francisco, moderno e aconchegante. Foi reformado. Ao lado da estação do Metrô, do bonde da Rua Powell e de dezenas de lojas tradicionais.

Excelente hotel. Habitaciones amplias , modernas , cómodas y limpias. Ubicación ideal y segura. El personal es muy amable y atento. Supero mis expectativas

El hotel me gusto mucho, desde el ingreso hay una barra, y una mesa de billar, además tienen servicio de bicicletas, que no usamos, pero ahi estaban, la habitación que nos dieron estaba por demás cómoda, amplia, limpia, y muy equipada, con cafetera, te, y bueno botellas, que me parecieron altas en precio, pero todo muy bien, cuentan con una bocina de Alexa, para amenizar tus momentos ahí, los amenities del baño de buena calidad, la atención de los encargados excelente, nos explicaron todo , nos dieron una hoja en donde había recomendaciones de alimentos y visitas, incluso le pidieron a la persona de mantenimiento nos llamara, para ver si habíamos entiendo las instrucciones o teníamos dudas, eso me pareció muy bueno de su parte, lo único que no me gusto es que del precio anunciado una vez que haces la reservación te hacen un cargo extra de 31 usd por día, y no son impuestos.

I would not recommend anyone stay here. Everything was great with my room until I went to go and take a shower. Mold is what I encountered. (See pictures below). So I said ok maybe this is just a one off, so I requested to be moved to another room, which they honored. Got to that room and again encountered mold in the bathroom. By now I am disgusted and disappointed and frustrated. On one of the most beautiful weekends in San Francisco I couldn't enjoy myself fully because I knew when I got back to the hotel that I couldn't take a proper shower because I didn't want to inhale mold spores. Your customers should not be encountering this.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Zetta. The atmosphere from the moment you set foot inside reception is playful and unique. The service from reception staff was impeccable. The room itself was cosy but beautiful and featured a generously sized bathroom. If you're looking for something a little more edgy than your standard hotel, Zetta is a great option.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Located a short distance from the Powell Bart station. But that is not the reason why I would come back to this hotel. The people at.the front desk were genuine and helpful. Justin at the front desk was exceptional.

Loved this place. Just the reception area alone is so well thought out. Like being somewhere between a youth club and a night club. The decor and interior design is superb. Really atmospheric and a lovely experience staying here. Staff lovely too.
