“It's not as advertised!! The place seems all inclusive until you get there. We spent another $500 once we got here to go off Resort for activities. They advertise all of these different restaurants, water sports, etc. But then you can't actually do/go to any of them. We tried renting a snorkeling set, and they said they don't hand them out unless you are part of a group with a tour guide going snorkeling, you then have to pay up to $200/pp to go! Same with the restaurants, if you want to eat at a nice restaurant, you need to reserve a spot. (and nobody tells you this beforehand, or how/where to put in the reservation). Once we finally tried putting in the reservation, they told us the site was down. We came back later and tried to make the reservation, they told us the restaurant was full. Golfing fees not included either. The resort is nice, definitely did not get what we paid for.”

“We came to Sandals La Toc for our one year anniversary. Overall, we had a great trip! Below are some points of our feedback:-St. Lucia is a beautiful island and the water is beautiful. We went in November 2021 and there was only 1 day that was a red flag day out of 6 days. The rest of the time was yellow flags but we were able to enjoy the beach and water, although at times the water did get a little rough that we did not choose to go in. -We did the Hobie Cat sailing. They had a short class where they gave instruction and we had no issues with it and definitely enjoyed being out there just the two of us on the water. -The resort overall was very well taken care of. -The staff and service overall was very good, although the front desk staff generally were not overly friendly or helpful on various occasions. -The food at all the restaurantswas fantastic. They all had different types of ambiance and we thoroughly enjoyed it. -A main issue we had was we literally did not get to usechairs at the main pools the entire time we were there for near a week.By 7-7:30 am nearly every chair had towels on it to block them off for the day.Sandals did not do anything to discourage this and also did not monitor to allow more people to be able to enjoy the chairs/pool.The beach had some chairs available on occasion but it was the same general situation with the beach as well. We were disappointed in this. The two other smaller pools did have some chairs available at times. -We did enjoy golfing several times while we were there. We didn't have any issue getting tee times or getting on the course. The course itself was convenient being directly on the property and we had a good time playing. The course was in average condition. With club rentals and cart fees it cost ~$130 per round for 9 holes. There is another 18 hole course that we heard was a beautiful course but it was ~45 minutes away. -We took the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel on our way there. It was about an hour and 20 minute ride and it was windy, but overall it was comfortable and they did have air conditioning. We did do the helicopter transfer back to the airport and it was our first time on a helicopter ride and we both really enjoyed this. -We did an excursion with a waterfall visit, mud bath and snorkeling. It was from 8 am to 4 pm. The waterfall was not at all anything special and there were a ton of people there so basically they gave each couple/group about 30 seconds to get in the waterfall, take a picture and then move on. It was definitely not impressive at all. The mud baths were an experience, but it was a similar situation that it was extremely crowded and you only had just a few minutes to get in the mud baths and get out.It was something to experience but not quite what we had thought it would be. The snorkeling and the rest of the boat ride was fun. -At the pool they did have volleyball games set up each day around ~3 and also had various activities like kayak races etc.We can't say we loved Sandals as much as we thought we would, but we definitely had a great trip overall.”
