“Generally speaking this hotel is just ok. It’s a beautiful old building, with high ceilings, old furniture. However the bathroom is way too small and narrow. We are group of 4 ppl and can barely place our few items. Not enough hocks for towels and obviously no towel dryers at all - they stay wet because we have to hang them all together. The room has door to another joint room so we have to listen to the neighbors who don’t hesitate to watch tv loud until midnight etc. The street however isn’t very noisy so it’s ok to sleep. And there are electric blinds covering the balcony door but you need to stand and press the button till it goes up or down - not automatic. Breakfast is rather poor. There are items, but not very top quality. Bread seemed to be defrosted. Some eggs, some cheese, but as I said it’s nothing really tasty. Being in Italy we would expect much better quality of breakfast. So we decided to take our coffee in a cafeteria outside - much better. In the room there’s a kettle, but only 2 cups. Oh and there aren’t enough sockets. You only have side lights and you need them plugged otherwise you unplug those and plug to charge your phone, tablets, Apple Watch, AirPods etc. Nowadays there are so many electronic appliances to be charged especially when you are traveling. So to summarize, the hotel is ok, but nothing extraordinary. And price per day was way too high for what it is.”

“The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The service at breakfast was impeccable and at check in they were very helpful in recommending places to go and places to eat. The location of the hotel is perfect. Super close to the train station and the addition of Lime scooters located nearly always within 2 minutes walk of the hotel it made it super easy to travel around Rome. I would recommend a visit to Hotel Alpi!!”
