“This is another place. The Nile flows past. The hotel has an old world charm of a bygone gracious era. The furnishing, the art, the books piled in tables ... it looks like a home, not a hotel. We just went for tea, but we're lucky to be allowed to walk around. The palace of King Farouk, this place is a walk through an age gone by.”

“By far, this is the greatest hotel in luxor. A massive building from the royal era with breathtaking decorations and antiques. Everything about this palace is magnificent. The staircase is from a movie or something. The rooms are wide, the curtains are beautiful, and the balconies are viewing the great Nile. The garden is so beautiful filled with thousands of different plants, roses. The chairs, the beds, the carpets, the chandeliers, the restaurant, and everything else is just amazing. The crew are so friendly and professional, and the atmosphere there makes you feel like you want to stay there forever.
