“Room was recently renovated at just our what the description on the Luxor website said. In reality it had new carpet, likely a new bed and maybe new hardware in the bathroom. The wall paper was pealing and the 2 large comfy chairs were clearly not new. We woke up to the sound of pounding and drilling to find out they are renovating the floor above us. We stayed on a Tuesday night and the casino and restaurants were fairly empty so you know they have plenty of empty rooms. Why or a guest in a room that will be impacted by construction unless you're sold out? After 45 minutes on hold for the operator to let them know their construction woke us up 1 1/2 hours before our planned wake up time, they credited up back our dinner purchase from the night before. This is why I gave them 3 star inserted on 2 star. With so that said, we had a great meal at the sports bar restaurant and we did the room to be nicely sized and comfortable. The bed was excellent. The shower had the craziest amount of water pressure and water volume, your hair will be soap few in about 2 seconds. With all the options in Las Vegas and a great recent stay at another MGM property that we found far superior, I'm not sure I'll be back to stay at the Luxor.”

“The architectural design of this building is interesting. We went to see the Blue Man Group. Some of what they did was amazing, but some of it was extremely quirky or just plain weird. Some parts of the show were fast-paced and others were slow. The tickets are a little steep. The theater is small enough that you can buy the lower priced seats and still have a great experience.”
