Attention vegans and vegetarians! The hotel room was very clean. Although the lighted mirror was broken and was hanging off of the wall for days before it was fixed leaving open wiring exposed on a wet sink for someone to touch. The vegan menus were pretty boring and the food lacked in flavor. We were told the staff was capable of handling a vegan or vegetarian diet which was not true. We made it very clear on several occasions that we did not eat meat and was served it more than once. Our final straw was the menu online that we are forced to use was not accurate. We told our server in peninsula restaurant that we did not eat meat. He said he understood although the food that came out had ground up chic Ken inside of it. He then went to the host and the host said to us to make sure we let our server know of our dietary issues. I explained to the host in front of the server that he was very aware and he repeated to us that we did not eat meat. They said there is issues with the online menu. Somehow this must be our fault. We did not eat at the resort because of these issues very much. Room service took 45 minutes to 1 hour to receive the food. The hotel pool was filthy, the beach had no chairs for anyone to go sit by. I was constantly harassed to go to owners meetings so we could be sold on more points. We had to tell the same employees no and to stop bothering us everyday. I would not recommend anyone that is an owner or who would like to be an owner of this resort.

Mostly good things to say about fiesta Americana. The staff was amazing and attentive, the food was ok kind of bland. I did like the Asian restaurant. The guys at the bar were super nice and kept the drinks coming before I could even finish. The room was nice, not the best view of the beach it was supposed to be ocean view. Air conditioner worked well and the shower was really great. What I didn’t like was that they pestered us about the timeshare presentation. I shrugged it off the first day but then they called my room phone 3 times at 7 in the morning.. very annoying. Then hunted me down at the cafe asking about it. We said we weren’t interested. We paid good money to stay there we didn’t want to waste our time listing to a timeshare that we weren’t interested in. They seemed very perturbed with us after that. I sensed an attitude from the manager. I watched them talk to another couple for a couple hours!!! No thank you ! I just want to relax !!!! I would consider coming back if they don’t harass you about a timeshare.

Fiesta Americana was a dream vacation! Very clean and efficient. The housekeeper kept us supplied with bottled water and anything else we needed. All waiters were very good, but our favorite was Mario, loved him, so helpful with best places to snorkel. He was very professional and informative. Food was very good and we loved the private plunge pool!

There's not much to say, it was a great place, a bit old but nice, clean 👌, sanitized, well maintained. Their employees are perhaps the best that I had know of. Their food is great. Their beaches are beautiful 😍 ❤ There is nothing that I will complain about. If get in touch with Darwin he will be your guy for most of your needs. I will definitely 👍 be back to this hotel 🏨, they do manage the pandemic exceptionally. Can't wait to go back for another week atleast...

We loved the place!! We visited with family and group of friends and it was great. I am extremely impressed by the quality of the food. It is very good. From breakfast to dinner. I cannot recommend more this place you'll have fun and enjoy your time in Cozumel.
