Perfect location to enjoy Boston. Easy walking distance to many attractions. Heading east to Boston Commons was a pleasant way to start each day. The rooms are excellent and the service is top notch. Every detail is looked after. A big thanks to Joe and Cori for helping make an engagement go smoothly.

I did not stay here. I stayed at the Loews hotel just a block or two away. However, a friend was staying at this hotel so I went over to meet her here. I ended up here for dinner and then came back for lunch the next day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating...much more than the staff at Loews. Next time I'm in Boston, I will definitely stay at this hotel. It's in a great location in the middle of everything.

5+ stars. I had a very pleasant stay at the Fairmont when I booked last minute after a horrible experience at the nearby Copley Square Hotel. My phone was dead on arrival and even without a reservation the receptionist offered to charge it and gave me a complementary mineral water while I waited. The entire staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the accommodation was tastefully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast in the restaurant was really well prepared and service was outstanding. On departure I needed to dispose of a broken suitcase and this was not a problem. The staff here know what it means to go above and beyond for customers. I will be back 👍

Excellent location. Has a posh vibe but the standard room is a bit outdated Heavy furniture and wobbly floor. On the other hand very comfortable bed and strong shower. A bit noisy as not great isolation from the doors and you can hear everything from the corridor. Staff helpful but a bit messy at checkout with lots of discrepancies in the bill. Of course they rectified everything on the spot but I had to hear 3 different bills before the correct one

I can't begin to say how great this hotel is. The staff was friendly.The rooms were clean. There's even a nice greater dog! I'll be staying here again foe sure!

This is a part of Boston history that has been well maintained and with a great service staff. Just walking in feels great. Also the location puts you right in the middle of everything. Unlike many historic hotels, the rooms were plenty large and felt clean and fresh. I had a couple of asks for the staff and they were tremendous every time. Great experience, would highly recommend this place.

What a fabulous hotel. Stayed here for a couple of days and this place doesn't disappoint. The only problem was the lack of conference rooms, which they told me was due to COVID limitations. I didn't know much about the historic significance of this place, but I do now understand, based on my stay here, that this place is marvellous.

Lobby and location are nice. Rooms are falling apart. Service could've made up for it but was not responsive - and generally not well put together. Basic needs like towels and room service were treated like mind bending puzzles that they couldn't translate.

Pros: Excellent location Very upscale and classy hotel King room was clean and spacious Cons: Incredibly thin walls, could hear regular conversations of our neighbors very clearly. They started cleaning our room before we even checked out! We went for breakfast and returned an hour prior to checkout to use the room and it was blocked and in disarray. I was hit with a surprise "Urban Experience Fee" of $30 which speaks to me of a lack of integrity. Overall the early cleaning and hidden fee left a bad taste in my mouth.

We've stayed here before and love the location.The hotel is a historic gem.Hotel staff are friendly and service is impeccable.We noticed this time that the hotel seems "tired".It's time for some updating.The bar and restaurant are vibrant and bustling in the evenings.

Gorgeous hotel, old world charm with modern facilities and amenities. We were there for a wedding reception in the Grand Ball room. The opulence of the place was simply mesmerizing! A true hidden gem in the heart of historic Boston! Staff is amazing and goes out of their way to serve you.

Fantastic experience. I stayed here for the first time when visiting Boston recently and found it a great experience. Staff were very helpful...including making sure that my suit got pressed and in my hands in plenty of time before my Monday morning meetings. Every staff member I ran into was very courteous and always had a smile and a hello for me. Really enjoyed the food options in the club lounge as well!

Everything was fantastic! I really loved the victorian decor and architecture. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant had great food and drinks. The valet was top knotch. Centrally located. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel. Nice and well equipped gym. Nice breakfast as well though not buffet. Rooms are quiet and well equipped as well. Beautiful hall. Five minute walk from Boston public garden and around ten or fifteen to Boston common. Right next to the (awesome) public library. I would repeat without a doubt.

We loved this place, wonderful location and very nice service. For breakfast, it’s okay. Rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. Loved the neighborhood. It’s a very pretty hotel. We needed a better fridge and they brought us one, that was nice.

It's an older hotel but very well kept. Great location and the service is good. The best thing is that it is dog friendly and they have their own dog there. Very family friendly.

Hotel with an abundance of history. Beautiful lobby and entry area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is very nice with lots of places within walking distance, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are small which is ok, but they look old and not updated to reflect a high end hotel. I would expect more for the price.

I had the pleasure of meeting Joseph Lincoln, Business Travel Sales Manager. He gave me a red carpet tour of the property and was well versed with the historical details of each space. The rooms I was shown were all impeccably clean, quiet and tastefully decorated. The new state-of-the-art rooftop fitness center was a bonus on my checklist. Joseph is an excellent communicator and followed up with me without pressuring me. He is super professional and friendly. During the tour, he asked me questions to gather specific amenities business travelers would be needing, to ensure their 1-3 night stay would be relaxing and stress free. The hotel is beautiful. I dined in the Oak Long Bar for lunch and the menu was Chef inspired with fresh ingredients. If you're planning a wedding, anniversary or any special occasion, Joseph would be a perfect person to work with planning out all the details. If you are looking for an accommodation that is unique and will leave pleasant memories added to your Boston experience, I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Joseph!
