“Las sábanas estaban sucias, la ducha está manchada de sucio y la puerta no cierra bien, por lo que el agua sale al baño. El TV no encendía y aunque llamé para que fueran a revisarlo, al final tuve que bajar a recepción para que lo resolvieran. El transporte llegó tarde, y además llegó lleno, por lo que tuve que esperar más tiempo para que regresaran por nosotros. De desayuno no hay más que frutas, cereal, café y juegos. Nada de huevos o algo más elaborado. No hay nada cerca para pedir comida a domicilio, dado que los precios del restaurante son exageradamente caros”

Pesimo servicio. Ya teniamos las habitaciones reservadas desde hace meses y al llegar al hotel todas estaban ocupadas y tuvimos que esperar 2 horas hasta encontrar una disponible.

Pues fatal. Tenía una reserva con Booking, y cuando llegué, dijeron que no tenían sitio en City Express Suites, y nos llevaron la lado, al City Express Plus, nos cobraron el doble por una noche. El restaurante si casi nada. La habitación olía mal, ha cerrado. Nos estuvieron mareando con el cheking más de 50m. Para no repetir.

We booked this hotel mostly because it had an airport shuttle. When we arrived at the hotel to check in we found out that the shuttle leaves every hour and has 5 spots. The first one leaves at 6 am and was fully booked when we arrived. The check in took 30 minutes and the hotel was very expensive considering the options you have in cancun. When we asked about it at the reception we only got rude answers and no help. I have never ever experienced such a lazy attitude in a hotel before. The hotel is new and clean (some of it) and in an area with nothing else in it. I can not give more than one star with this horrible service.

El hotel está bien pero no hay señalamientos visibles para entrar al estacionamiento, el servicio es pésimo, no tienen las llaves de las habitaciones activas y hay q pedir en recepción que alguien suba a abrir la habitación, somos 4 y solo nos dieron una toalla , las solicite y nunca me las dieron. El restaurant se tardan en atender. La alberca muy bien.

if you want a clean hotel with friendly staff do not stay at this hotel. The shuttle arrived almost 1 hr after I whatsapped the hotel that I was at the waiting area. After travelling almost 30 hrs I arrived to the room filthy. The carpet hadn’t been cleaned and there were crumbs all over the floor, the mirrors and shower glass had smears all over them and the microwave was dirty with finger prints over it. I have never asked to move rooms in all my travels but it was too dirty to ignore especially during COVID times. when I went to the front desk and politely explained the situation all they said was okay and didn’t apologise or say anything else. when I got let into the new room I asked if I could receive a key and she said she would be right up with a new one and simply never returned this lead to me missing breakfast the next morning as a sole female traveller I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my room with no key in case there was no one at the front desk because I had tried to contact the hotel via booking, WhatsApp, the drivers what’s app, calling via hotel phone eventually eating the cost and calling via my personal phone and only after contacting them via face book I got a response and still didn’t receive a key. Even the new room was not great it had bugs in the shower a discoloured floor and only a flat sheet with no duvet.

La segunda vez que me hospedé aquí,4.Enero.2021 ya tenía mi reservación con 2 meses de anticipación, llegué a las 5:25 p.m. y me dijeron que en 30 minutos me asignaban mi habitación,mi esposo y yo esperábamos y la Señorita Mónica de Recepción no aparecía,molesta pregunté 2 veces que que pasaba con mi habitación!!? finalmente hasta las 7:40 p.m. me dieron habitación!! 2 horas y un poco más después de mi llegada. En el piso 2 estaba aún estaban limpiando. Duermo y a las 10:40 p.m. me despertaron tantos ruidos pues estaban limpiando el piso y habitaciones! 1:00 a.m. y ya no pude dormir!! Desayuno Continental: 1 café,jugo de naranja, 1 radiografía de Sandia, otra de melón, Yogurth, un platito con leche y una mini cajita de cereal, mini panecillos. CUIDADO!! Impresentables… Te dejan tirado, evitar a toda costa este hotel! Habiendo cogido el hotel con meses de antelación, la misma semana confirme mi llegada ya que llegábamos a las 9 de la noche. El mismo día , les escribí para confirmar el shuttle a la hora que llegábamos y me confirmaron que todo estaba correcto. Mi sorpresa fue que cuando llego a Cancún, no esta el shuttle, y al escribirles me dicen que han vendido mi habitación y que me busque la vida. Sin avisarme. Dormimos en el aeropuerto ya que no había más hoteles disponibles . Inhumano.

The only reason why we picked this hotel was that our flight to Cancun was at 21.30 and we knew we would need transfer from the airport. This was the place that offered it so we chose it. What a mistake that was. I wrote to them four times- nobody replied. When we arrived I called them 5 times and nobody answered. Nobody was waiting for us, so we were all alone in Mexico, with a tone of strangers proposing transportation. We chose the official taxi which costs 68 USD!!! When we arrived at the hotel, I informed the staff that I want to pay 68 USD less - the exact amount that should be included in the price I pay for the hotel. Instead I received 8 dollars discount and they said that transfer is a courtesy, whatever that means. Oh and they do not speak English. So if you care only for the transfer, I suggest choosing another options.

This hotel has the worst customer service.
Every person that I came across was unhappy.
1. The driver was an hour and 30 minutes late. He picked us up and had an attitude and was not welcoming at all.
2. Check in took another hour. The GM kept walking by and did not even try to help or check in others (a goof 6 people were waiting), when there was a line.
3. Their food options are poor. They did not have a lot of items in the menu.
4. The phones in the room do not work.
5. OUR SHEETS WERE DIRTY. NEVER CHANGED! It had hair everywhere, sand, foot stains, and smelled horrible.DISGUSTING!!!
6. I tried to ask for help multiple times and the other workers were ignoring me, walking away.
7. Not only that but another group of people (10) were there waiting to be helped too and NO ONE was in site. Two women were hiding in the office and did not want to come out to assist at all. I am not sure why they are hiding and not assisting.
8. I have never walked into a hotel where ALL TRAVELERS were UPSET and extremely upset.
9.There is nothing in the area but construction.
10. Worst money spent.

We arrived there at 5:30 pm and were tired from our flight. We had to wait 20 minutes at the reception until somebody came to attend us. They told us that the room would be ready in 30 minutes, although we had booked it from 3:00pm. One our later we called the manager and he promised us that someone would give us the keys to the room. Another 45 minutes passed and nobody cared. Finally my wife started complaining, because we were tired and hungry. After that someone got up from their cell phonea and attended us. We got the room at around 8pm.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the hotel restaurant is very expensive and serves very mediocre quality.
Breakfast is not included as advertised. You have to pay extra.
We fell asleep at 9 pm, but the room service was so noisy that it woke us up at 11:30 pm and kept us up until 1 am.
The entire place was dirty. Everything had dried stains, dirt or smear. See attached photos.
The only good thing about this place is the free airport transportation service.

My husband and I arrived to Cancun December 5th and unfortunately I tested positive for Covid upon arriving. So I already had it before coming to Mexico. The original resort we were supposed to stay at, sent us to this dirty hotel. Their service is horrible! I would call downstairs as we needed medicine for our covid symptoms and they would never answer their phone. We needed to contact a pharmacy as they would not let us leave our room. They could care less if you were dying from covid. We were in room 418, so anyone on the fourth floor was put in danger of contacting covid. Food was disgusting, the bathroom and hallways had a foul smell. It smelled like a sewer! Worst place ever! Staff was horrible! Worst experience of my life!

Don’t stay here!! We waited on the courtesy shuttle for well over an hour and a half. Once we arrived we waited for over an hour to be checked in with only two other couples in front of us, no explanation or apology for the wait. Not a very well insulated room could hear talking and noise all through the night. The following morning went to the desk to get towels as there were none in the room. After the thirty minute wait I returned to shower and found there was NO hot water. Took the arctic plunge to wash the nastiness of travel off. We then tried to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Get the yogurt or cereal all other options were substandard.
Do yourself a favor and choose another place to stay!!

I had stayed here before and enjoyed my night there. But this stay was not so good. I ordered some food to my room and after waiting more than a hour for it to arrive I went to the kitchen to pickup the food myself. The food was cold and seemed to have been sitting on the counter for a longtime. The food was terrible and way overpriced. The buffet breakfast in the morning was not the same as last time with nothing hot to eat. Only toast and coffee.

Apesar de ser longe do centro de cancun e zona hoteleira (fique la somente se tiver carro), é um hotel com instalações novas , limpo, cheiroso, quartos bonitos, internet wifi 100% e boas roupas de cama/banho. As 2 camas sao de casal mas podiam ser queen (esse é o padrão do mexico). Há estacionamento fechado incluso. Ha piscina bem bonita mas nao utilizamos. Ha cofre no quarto. O atendimento foi bom (tivemos que mudar de quarto devido a problema no ar e isso aconteceu rapido). O cafe da manha é ruim como em todo hotel normal no México. Recomendo.

El hotel súper bien la verdad, pero el desayuno solo incluye café, té, jugo y pan. En otros hoteles de ese tipo al menos te ponen salchichas fritas, chilaquiles y huevo.

Es el hotel más sucio que he conocido!!! Ni que decirse del check in; nosotros al llegar noche (porque el servicio de transporte del hotel tardó casí una hora en recogernos) queriamos solo dormir y nos registraron en el mostrador, nos pidieron copias de nuestra identificación y nos pasaron a otro efificio para seguir registrandonos ¡me sentí muy mal! y frustada, porque lo único que quería era descansar. Después de todo ese tiempo y al llegar a la habitación me encuentro con un piso mega sucio se me pegaban los zapatos en cada paso que daba, de verdad que me dió mucho asco ¿no hay quién supervise al personal de limpieza? Y si piensan que van a recibir un buen desayuno ¡olvidenlo! Porque lo único que incluye es pan de caja, cafe, leche, fruta y cereales; si quieren chilaquiles, huevos, etc. lo tendran que pagar por separado.

Fue muy fácil agendar el servicio de traslado aeropuerto-hotel-aeropuerto. Tienes que hacerlo con al menos 1 día de anticipación por WhatsApp, llama al hotel o entra a la pág y ahí viene el número. Me recibieron muy bien, la recámara estaba limpia y pude descansar. No pude conectarme a internet pero no lo intenté muchas veces porque llegué a las 1am y mi vuelo salía unas horas después a las 10am. El desayuno básico está bien, muchos se quejan pero es lo que dan en beds and breakfast al rededor del mundo, si quieres algo más rico de desayuno puedes comprar a la carta. Me volvería a quedar aquí sobretodo por el servicio de traslado al aeropuerto.

We found it to be a comfortable stay. The room was big. Security is very good. They have good Covid protocol in place. There are many amenities. The pool area is beautiful! We enjoyed the continental breakfast as well. There is, however, one thing to be aware of. They advertise a free shuttle to and from the airport. They only go at certain times and have limited capacity. Your odds are better to get a ride to the airport than from it. Reserve your spot via written communication ahead of time. But if any delay happens to your flight into Cancun you will most likely be taking a taxi.

Achamos o hotel pelo Google por ser próximo ao aeroporto e pelo transfere estar incluso, ligamos para ver se avia disponibilidade e a que horas o transfer saia, a recepção do hotel combinou que podíamos pega um táxi até o hotel e que ele nos compensava incluindo café da amanhã na nossa estadia, e assim não foi feito, no outro dia as 9:17 sentamos na mesa e o garçom ofereceu o cardápio e mostrou o valor, avisamos sobre o combinado na hora de fazer a reserva, e ele informou que não seria possível! Pagamos o café. No segundo dia acordamos mais cedo do mesmo jeito não nos incluíram no café da manhã. Anotem ou deixe registrado qualquer forma de negociação com eles !

La peor experiencia en un hotel en mucho tiempo.Escogimos este hotel por estar cerca del aeropuerto y para pasar solo una noche. Al llegar el personal que nos atendió tenía una actitud extraña, quizás tenía sueño o no estaba de buen humor. La habitación a primera vista parecía buena pero costaba respirar de la peste a humedad que había. Para colmo la ventana no se puede abrir por lo que no se puede ventilar. Se supone que el desayuno está incluido pero cuando llegas te dicen que solo se incluye desayuno americano, el resto hay que pagarlo. Lo que ofrecen es un zumo rancio de naranja, unas tostadas con mantequilla, cereales y poco más. Mala pinta. Teníamos otra reserva de otra noche para el último día antes de volar de regreso a España y la hemos cancelado, ni regalado vuelvo a ese hotel

If they could get their act together with their sewage problem and staffing shortage, I might stay in the future. Also, although they are organized about getting people to the airport, they have yet to succeed to reliably pick people up from the airport to get to the hotel. They need a better system to do this; it is pure chaos now at Cancun airport and although the official rate for a taxi to this hotel should be USD $30 the aggressive taxi people yelling at you as you arrive will show you their "price sheet" and claim it costs $60 for a short ride from the airport to the hotel and you are tempted after arriving after a long flight, hot and tired, and the "free shuttle" to the hotel is no where to be found and the hotel does not have an easy way to sort out the mess. Beware in Mexico..visitors are wanted because they want our money and they will try to do anything to scam you out of your money...starting at the airport with taxis who prey on people like those who have "free shuttles" to their hotel..that never show up. No Uber at Cancun Airport.

PLEASE READ. I was inclined to leave a good review since the staff was helpful during our trip but the hotel itself is not well kept.
There are bed bugs in their beds which is absolutely disgusting. It put a damper on our trip as we were literally covered in bites. The bath had mold in the corner. The whole hotel had an odd smell, it was almost a moldy smell.
I would not recommend this place. It is not worth your whole family being exposed to an unsanitary location just to save a few dollars. The location isn’t the best either. I also gave this place the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately it was a mistake, please don’t put yourself through this.

Listen, it’s a great spot if you need to stay a night at the hotel before you leave to the airport. The workers are all friendly and it’s a great bargain. Rappi can’t deliver here and the food is so-so. The pool is great and you can get a nice sunset view. There’s a pool table I t he lobby if you like to shoot billiards and the rooms are really nice. When I arrived, my room was still a mess. I called the front and they quickly cleaned it up. This hotel offers shuttles or the airports which is great for the budget cost. Other places charge for shuttles to the airport. Food is included as well (breakfast at least)

Really new building. Seems like the area is going to be developed more in the future but currently, there's not much around. Pool is decent with a lot of lounge space inside and out. Comfy beds and a free shuttle that was on time.

The rooms were beautiful but service not so much. The front desk forgot my 4 am wake up call request. Luckily I woke up myself.I had an early flight to catch. On my shuttle ride to the airport Cancun International at 5 am my driver Timor (?) On May 24, 2021 caused me great physical harm. He slammed on his brakes going very fast and I was thrown up in to the drivers seats from two rows back. I sustained serious injuries, 2 broken ribs, elbow and more. I still got on my plane not knowing the extent of my injuries until later that day at an emergency room in Houston, Texas. I asked the hotel in an email to reach me. They still have not responded!! I Two weeks later I am struggling with much pain from this incident.

O hotel tem bons quartos. Amplos com cozinha completa dentro. A piscina e bem Boa com camas de sol, e camas com cobertura para até 4 pessoas. Atenção! Tem muito mosquito por ser perto da Mata. Muito mesmo! A localização não permite caminhar alugar algum. Os táxis são muito caros! 600 pesos até o centro.

I had a scheduled business trip for two days in Cancun, traveling from Mexico City. I decided to choose this hotel since I was going there for business and just needed something simple, comfortable and reliable for my stay. These hotels end up being the best for business trips as all you want is a nice clean room to spend the night and a fast and simple service in order to make it to your meetings / work appointments on time. I would rather stay in one of these small hotels with experience on business trips than a huge commercial ones for these specific cases. Well, I thought wrong and I chose wrong. I do have to admit the booking call center was amazing with great customer service, so sad that for BOOKINGS THEY ARE ON IT, but for the rest they are not. This review is not to affect anyone, especially during these dark times of COVID, but to help customers realize what they are getting themselves into before they book here, and for the company to improve, take it as constructive criticism and grow from their mistakes. I do know that as for me, I will not be staying with CITY EXPRESS ever again, at least not in Mexico.

Price quality unbeatable. If you are willing to drive to the beach or take taxis it would be way cheaper than staying at the touristy zone.
Unless you really know the place and what to expect dont invest on all inclusive blindly.
