Almost EVERYTHING was perfect except the bed… The mattress is NOT comfortable and too low to the floor. I also couldn’t get the AC/Heat to adjust correctly but I fixed that by opening the window. LOVE this hotel otherwise and can’t wait to return. (Maybe I had a bad mattress?)

Our room was beautiful. Up to date, clean, spacious, and the temperature was easy to control in below zero weather! There was a very quiet atmosphere throughout the hotel. We dinner ate at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious! My husband had the salmon, I the squash soup, and we shared a salad. Our server, Tiffany, was kind and courteous. The hotel is in walking distance of many sights and theaters. We will stay there again!

I had a corner room with a view. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the hotel was very clean. The elevators are key coded which makes for a feeling of security. Breakfast, however, left much to be desired. But everything else is Hyatt five star

Hotel was super clean and modern, felt very safe and private which was nice and in a city that gets a bad rep for safety. Now the staff.. this is where it stood out to me. THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING! The best person was David, so helpful guided us to the best spots around town and just all around great guy! He even let us check out a little later as our flight was at 6 and no extra charge and never missed a day to not greet us like if we were friends for years. It’s impressive to get such great service at such a great price. The hotel is also in a great location near many many restaurants and it’s a good spot not too far from all the tourist attractions! Overall I rate this Hyatt a 9/10 and the only reason it’s not a 10/10 is because the free breakfast was mid at best. We will definitely be coming back here the next time we come to Chicago and you won’t regret booking it!

Hotel was nice and clean. Had a corner room and loved the different views I got. A bit small but perfect size for a couple. My boyfriend couldn’t stop admiring the room and how much he loved it lol. Really great stay and close to train lines which was nice to not walk in the cold for a long time. Continental breakfast was good too. Really loved the parfait. Would definitely be back!

Rated 4 star but restaurant is closed, rooftop is closed, no free breakfast, not even something you can pick up to go. Management will tell you bar is open on first floor during weekdays which gives them the right to authorize 75 dollars a day in charges to your card for incidentials. Front desk people are aloof and downright disrespectful including the goofy manager who rationalized everything. Elevators were also malfunctioning, rooms were very small. Definately not worth it. It's a 2 star hotel at the most. Good part is location. The restaurant is closed on the second or third floor so be ready to dine somewhere else.

What a nice Hotel in the town! We decided to have our dinner at their lobby lounge where we can just chill, and at the same time enjoy great food. Also, the hotel staff always exceeds our expectations when it comes to customer service. Thanks a lot for such wonderful service repair. Strongly recommended!

-1 Star for bad service, we were charged twice for the same room. As of this review we still haven’t had this issue resolved. -1 Star for cleanliness, found dirty used earplugs in the room next to beds. -1 Star for the condition of the room. The ac would constantly lower the temperature by itself. The window shutters were broken. Scuff marks on walls and furnishings. The only reason I’m not giving them one star is because the manager was a decent person and tried their best to help us. I’ve stayed at red roof inn that was cleaner and more convenient if that says anything about this place. Especially during Covid-19.

I stayed there 5 nights a week for nearly 5 months for a work related stay in summer/fall of 2019. The entire team was so helpful and friendly and they went out of their way to provide anything I needed. I knew a lot of the staff by first name and they were truly hospitality professionals. They were so welcoming and the accommodations were wonderful. It made me feel like it was a home away from home and that is what hospitality is all about. Thanks Hyatt Centric Chicago Loop!!!

Really liked the hotel. Good gym, there is a room with coffee and snacks. Nice French restaurant downstairs. Good service. Only drawback: very loud fan in the room, when heater is turned on by the thermostat, the sound is like a slamming door! Had to set fan for always ON to avoid that. Otherwise, perfect.
