“Beyond basic. Room felt like a mix of a prison cell and student accommodation. The shower was basically in the bedroom. The sink was in the bedroom. £114 a night is not cheap enough for this place. One lift didn't work the whole time. Parking was limited and you had to pay. The reason for two stars is because the staff were really nice otherwise would've been one!”

“You honestly pay for what your getting. Me and my partner stopped here after a few drinks around Birmingham, great location and everything within walking distance. Hotel itself is very tired and poorly maintained. Staff were friendly but very minimal, loads of noise from the road with constant sirens and horns. Lift was like waiting for a train very unpredictable and took so long in the end just used the stairs. I don’t think I will be stopping at the hotel again I’ll pay the extra for somewhere nice and quite.”
