“If I was giving a review solely on the staff, they would get 6/5 stars! I could not have had a better experience from the waiting staff but I’m sure they would try. The reason I can’t give 5 stars on the hotel is due to room issues. When I arrived, the a/c unit would error out and the room would be hot when I woke up or got back for the day. I made a request for a fix but it never was. Also the toilet would run nonstop, requested that to be fixed as well but never was. I ended up just turning it off at night.. not really my favorite thing to have to do while I stay at a hotel. Food was great! Again, waiting staff was fantastic! Hotel is nicely located for the airport and rental car needs.”

“Our first night my vehicle got broken into the back window busted out. Like many more we saw each day. They charged $15 a day for parking for a gate that lets anyone in & out without a code. Which they give you when you check-in. As we were leaving the hotel for our day out, that’s when we see that thewindow was busted out with plastic over it. We go to Notify the front desk they told us they had already done a police report. The guy that the front desk was nice, but was fast talker saying how sorry he was & that he will do something to Compensate us. We were suppose to be checking out after 3 night, but ended up staying a extra night so that we could get the window fixed. Thank God we found someone that could fix it that Friday. Which cost us $375.00. We were told from the guy at the front desk that Marriott will contact our insurancecompany (fast talking) that we should get compensated for the window. As we checking out the receipt only showed credit for 1 night for 1 room we had two rooms. That’s not compensation for what we had to pay for the window. Call corporate NOTHING. As we leaving the hotel we notice 2 more cars with busted back window with plastic with a Berkeley police department card. They’ll be surprised just like we were. Not a good place to stay never again! Na nossa primeira noite, meu veículo foi arrombado pela janela traseira. Como muitos mais vimos a cada dia. Eles cobraram US$ 15 por dia para estacionar em um portão que permite que qualquer pessoa entre e saia sem um código. Que eles te dão quando você faz o check-in. Quando estávamos saindo do hotel para o nosso dia, é quando vemos que a janela estava quebrada com plástico por cima. Vamos notificar a recepção que eles nos disseram que já tinham feito um boletim de ocorrência. O cara que a recepção foi bom, mas foi falador rápido dizendo como ele estava triste e que ele vai fazer algo para nos compensar. Nós deveríamos estar fazendo o check-out após 3 noites, mas acabamos ficando uma noite extra para que pudéssemos consertar a janela. Graças a Deus encontramos alguém que poderia consertá-lo naquela sexta-feira. Que nos custou $ 375,00. Fomos informados do cara na recepção que Marriott entrará em contato com nossa companhia de seguros (falando rápido) que deveríamos ser compensados pela janela. Como nós check-out o recibo mostrou apenas crédito para 1 noite para 1 quarto, tivemos dois quartos. Isso não é uma compensação pelo que tivemos que pagar pela janela. Ligue para a empresa NADA. Ao sairmos do hotel, notamos mais 2 carros com a janela traseira quebrada com plástico com um cartão do departamento de polícia de Berkeley. Eles vão se surpreender como nós. Não é um bom lugar para ficar nunca mais!”
