“We had a one week stay in August 2021, staff needs work. Requested a drink three times over a course of hour and thirty minutes. A group of 12 people wanting to play pool volleyball requested a ball over an hour past and one of the guests just decided to go grab a volleyball from the beach nets then the staff demanded him to return the ball back to the beach then finally staff walked over to a room that was only 20 feet away from the group of 12 and got them a volleyball for the game. Vacationers pay thousands of dollars to visit and service lacks. Go to a different sandals location. The coffee shop machines are normally not working. The resort is beautiful. I give the grounds crew a 5 Star. The steak at the English pub is better then the steaks at Butches.... I'm comparing our stay to other 5 Star resorts we visited. Ralph the night bar tender is Amazing give the man a raise. The English pub manager also needs a raise. Most staff seemed to hate their job or at least that was the vibe.”

I had a wonderful time, they took very good care of me. Room, food, drinks and customer service was excellent! They really weren't ready for our crew because we like to party and most people there went to bed early. Like before midnight 🤣🤣🤣 so we had to party at the bowling alley and not at our rooms.

Resort muito sobrestimado. Não desperdice o prêmio extra neste lugar. Parecia não haver comunicação entre os funcionários. Os pedidos estavam incorretos em todas as refeições. Serviço foi muito lento em alguns lugares. Nós estávamos lá para o casamento de um amigo e dois dias antes eles ainda estavam tentando obter detalhes de quando e onde. Os mordomos nunca chegavam na hora e a equipe ficava inventando desculpas para não chegar. Nosso café da manhã de lua de mel de amigos nunca foi entregue. Em seguida, apareceu sem aviso prévio com um dia de atraso com apenas comida para um e não para dois. Chegou ao ponto em que estávamos fazendo apostas em quantos erros seriam cometidos. Sandals promove um ótimo serviço, mas eles simplesmente não entregam. Os funcionários estão sobrecarregados ou realmente mal treinados e ninguém é dono de nenhum dos erros. Jardins agradáveis e boa comida, mas há muitos resorts que agora têm um custo muito menor. As sandálias deveriam gastar mais com seus funcionários e menos com publicidade.

Resort muy sobrevalorado. No desperdicies la prima extra en este lugar. Parecía que no había comunicación entre el personal. Los pedidos eran incorrectos en todas las comidas. El servicio fue muy lento en algunos lugares. Estuvimos allí para la boda de un amigo y dos días antes todavía estaban tratando de obtener detalles de cuándo y dónde. Los mayordomos nunca llegaban a tiempo y el personal seguía inventando excusas para no llegar. El desayuno de luna de miel de nuestros amigos nunca fue entregado. Luego apareció sin previo aviso un día tarde con solo comida para uno, no para dos. Llegó al punto en que estábamos haciendo apuestas sobre cuántos errores se cometerían. Sandals promueve un gran servicio pero simplemente no entregan. El personal está sobrecargado de trabajo o muy poco capacitado y nadie es responsable de ninguno de los errores. Bonitos jardines y buena comida, pero hay muchos resorts que ahora tienen eso a un costo mucho menor. Sandals debería gastar más en su personal y menos en publicidad.

We loved every minute of our time at Sandals Barbados—the beach, pools, food, staff…everything was amazing. It was our first time staying at a Sandals resort and we will definitely be returning customers. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Very over-rated resort. Don't waste the extra premium at this place. There seemed to be no communication amongst the staff. Orders were incorrect at all meals. Service was very slow in some places. We were there for a friend's wedding and two days before they were still trying to get details of when and where. Butlers were never on time and staff kept making up excuses for not coming through. Our friends Honeymoon breakfast was never delivered. Then showed up without notice a day late with only food for one not two. It got to the point where we were making bets on how many mistakes would be made. Sandals promotes great service but they just don't deliver. Staff are either over-worked or really under-trained and no one owns any of the mistakes. Nice grounds and good food but there are many resorts that have that now at much less cost. Sandals should spend more on their staff, and less on advertising.

Resort is on south side of island so wind is 15-30 mph most of time and water is super rough. Saw multiple people get knocked down by waves. That would be only "negative" I guess. But water color is amazing and resort is nice

Este resort é absolutamente incrível, a partir do momento em que você chega, você é recebido por tantas pessoas gentis perguntando se você precisa de alguma coisa. Reservamos um quarto com vista para o mar e adoramos tudo. A praia era espetacular, as bebidas eram gostosas e a comida deliciosa. O Sandals torna tudo incrivelmente fácil de navegar, desde a sua chegada ao aeroporto até o retorno ao aeroporto para voltar para casa. Meu marido e I hospedado em um Club level frente à praia no Sandals Barbados. O resort é lindo e impecavelmente mantido. A paisagem é exuberante e tropical e tudo o que você procura em um resort de férias no Caribe.A gerência parece se concentrar em tratar os hóspedes muito bem na chegada e na partida, mas eles precisam polvilhar esse atendimento ao cliente em todo o resort - principalmente nos restaurantes. Esta foi a minha primeira experiência com qualquer estabelecimento Sandals, mas eu definitivamente senti que o serviço não foi consistente durante toda a minha estadia. Perguntei a outros hóspedes que encontrei e a opinião retumbante de todos foi que eles se sentiram mais tratados como um incômodo do que como um hóspede valioso.Eu direi que alguns funcionários se esforçaram para serem úteis, enquanto outros pareciam se esforçar para serem difíceis. Mi marido y yo nos alojamos en una habitación frente a la playa de nivel Club en Sandals Barbados. El complejo es precioso y está impecablemente mantenido. This resort is absolutely amazing, from the moment you arrive you're greeted by so many kind people asking if you need anything. We booked an ocean view room and loved everything about it. The beach was spectacular, the drinks were yummy and the food was delicious. Sandals makes everything incredibly easy to navigate, starting from your arrival at the airport to leaving back to the airport to head home. We really appreciated the fact that no one tried to up sell us on anything. We will be booking other Sandals Resorts soon!

My husband and I stayed on a Club level beach front room at Sandals Barbados. The resort is gorgeous and impeccably maintained. The landscaping is lush and tropical and everything you're looking for in a Caribbean vacation resort.
The management seems to focus on treating guests really well upon arrival and departure but they need to sprinkle that customer service throughout the resort - particularly at the restaurants. This was my first experience with any Sandals property at all but I definitely felt like service was not consistent throughout my stay. I asked other guests that I came across and the resounding opinion from everyone was they felt more like they were treated like a nuisance rather than a valued guest.
I will say a few employees went out of their way to be helpful, while it felt like others went out of their way to be difficult. Maybe it's staffing issues due to Covid, maybe it's cultural differences but it's definitely an area that can and needs to be improved.
There's no excuse for feral cats to have their run of all of the outdoor restaurants. It's a problem that should be a priority for Sandals to deal with. My husband and I didn't have a single outdoor dining experience - day or night where we didn't have to deal with them.
Lastly if you're hoping to enjoy a tropical cocktail concoction on the beach do yourself a favor and buy a bottle of duty free rum (or whatever your alcohol preference is) at the airport to supplement. They DEFINITELY water everything down.

Stayed here in Summer of 2017 with my husband. Such a relaxing and romantic resort. Food was amazing, as well as the drinks. Such a gorgeous country! The beaches are mesmerizing and crystal blue. Will definitely return.

Staff are wonderful! Restaurants are really good, they aren't all open all the time!!5 star activities! Definitely NOT 5* checkout!!Lovely beach, but always windy!! Plenty of choice of where to sit during the day, around pools!! If you want to choose a seat on the beach, people were getting on the beach at 5ish AM to put their towels on the loungers! Unless you had a Butler to do it for you!Lots of people wonder off and leave their towels on loungers on the beach and never go back, VERY selfish!

Sandals is always amazing! This is our 5th one and it always gets better! We also did the captain Larry’s tour which is not connected to sandals but was absolutely amazing! We got to see all of Barbados and eat locally. Definitely look him up when you are here. Our butler s were also amazing!

Food and rooms were good. The staff is absolutely awful. The bartenders won’t acknowledge you for 5 minutes even with an empty bar (2 occasions and different bars).Another time i came to a bar with 1 guest in front of me and waited 25 minutes for two water bottles. She kept making drinks for the servers that had requests rather than handing me two bottles of water.Our wedding planner forgot to give us itinerary even though we called and asked about it. When we met her we had no idea what to expect and thought it was a ten minute thing. We came dressed in bathing suits and we were told we’re going to the registry office for 2 hours so we need to get our papers. We didn’t eat because we thought it was going to be a 10 minute thing so we were starving the whole time. Then the day after the wedding we were supposed to get breakfast in bed with rose petals but the wedding planner forgot to book that for us even though she took our order and everything.I’d say it was 50/50 when it came to the staff. They’re either super friendly or very unenthusiastic and came off rude

Sensacional... Já tinha viajado para outros resorts no Caribe, porém, o Sandals está além...Todas as noites tem atrações, shows e piano bar, além do atendimento único e personalizado.Os 11restaurantes são muito bonitos e a comida maravilhosa.De fato, o preço da diária é bem salgado e não encontrei nenhum brasileiro lá, mas isso não tirou o encanto do lugar.Citoapenas2 itens que não me agradaram muito:1) Não possuem quadra poliesportiva2) A praia, embora seja linda, possui muitas algas

Fomos bem recebidos , pessoas alegres , bem uniformizados . Adorei o cuidado e a limpeza as flores lindas que encontrei por ali , os grilos cantando a noite muito lindo ....acho que deveria ter mais opções para vegetarianos e diminuir um pouco o som nas piscinas. Meu carinho especial vai para Melissa e sua equipe que nos atendeu carinhosamente.

Nós AMAMOS as vistas, praias, amenidades e recursos no local durante a nossa estadia. O serviço deixou alguns a desejar. Percebemos que a cobiça teve um impacto sobre isso. Another great experience at Sandals. Darren at Bombay was outstanding helping us newbies select and thoroughly enjoy our meal. Saw him again at Butch's Steak & Seafood. That is how professional and in demand he is! Attentive, genuine and a true gentleman. Sandals is lucky to have him!!

Mi esposo y yo tuvimos 2 pruebas de COVID, tarjetas de vacunas, etc. No solo nos empujaron a nuestra habitación para ponernos en cuarentena, tuvimos que llamar NUMEROSAS veces para ver cuándo podíamos ser liberados. Bueno, un día entero y medio después liberaron es por la noche. Fue una pesadilla que solo estuvimos allí por 5 días. Cuando fuimos a reservar restaurantes para el resto de nuestra corta estancia, todos los restaurantes estaban reservados y no pudieron hacer nada. Intentamos aprovechar al máximo nuestra estancia, pero muchas cosas se quedaron cortas. Sin duda volveré a Barbados, pero nunca volveré a dar mi dinero a los complejos de Sandals. La forma en que nos trataron fue bastante pobre. Lo mínimo que pudieron haber hecho después de hacernos quedarnos en nuestras habitaciones fue dejarnos ir a un buen restaurante o devolvernos el dinero por los 2 días perdidos. ¡Nada! Yo diría que corra hacia el otro lado si decide un resort Sandals. No puedo esperar hasta que las líneas de cruceros vuelvan a funcionar. ¡Lo único bueno fueron estas tartas de frutas! Fueron increíbles, ¡felicitaciones al chef!

Meu marido e eu fizemos 2 testes de COVID, cartões de vacina, etc. Eles não apenas nos mandaram para o nosso quarto para a quarentena, mas tivemos que ligar NUMERAS vezes para ver quando poderíamos ser libertados. Bem, um dia inteiro e 1/2 depois eles libertaram é à noite. Foi um pesadelo, ficamos lá apenas 5 dias. Quando fomos reservar restaurantes para o resto de nossa curta estadia, todos os restaurantes estavam reservados e eles não podiam fazer nada. Tentamos fazer o melhor da nossa estadia, mas muitas coisas ficaram aquém. Com certeza estarei de volta a Barbados, mas nunca mais darei meu dinheiro aos resorts do Sandals. A maneira como nos tratavam era muito pobre. O mínimo que podiam ter feito depois de nos obrigar a ficar nos quartos era deixar-nos ir a um restaurante simpático ou devolver o dinheiro pelos 2 dias perdidos. Nada! Eu diria que corra de outra forma, caso você decida um resort Sandals. Mal posso esperar até que as linhas de cruzeiro estejam operando novamente. A única coisa boa eram essas tortas de frutas! Eles foram incríveis, cumprimentos ao chef!

Fui para nossa lua de mel. O Sandals está fazendo tudo o que pode para garantir que todos estejam protegidos da cobiça. A comida, a equipe e o ambiente eram fantásticos. Estamos extremamente insatisfeitos com a resposta à nossa reclamação sobre a falta de serviço de limpeza no nosso quarto. É o nosso último dia no resort e partimos com um gosto muito desagradável na boca. Hoje é nosso aniversário e tivemos massagens às 16h, que foram excelentes, porém, quando voltamos para o nosso quarto às 18h, nosso quarto não estava arrumado. Não tínhamos toalhas para os chuveiros e não conseguimos obter uma resposta na limpeza. Tentamos serviço de quarto, mas a vm estava cheia. Fomos até a recepção e garantiram que alguém viria imediatamente. Ninguém nunca apareceu. Acabamos tendo chuveiros com toalhas de piscina. Quando perguntamos novamente, mais uma vez tivemos a certeza de que tudo seria resolvido. Isso nunca aconteceu e quando meu marido voltou para a mesa, os gerentes de plantão disseram que se fôssemos sócios do clube, ele poderia nos ajudar! Ele foi mais longe a ponto de dizer "se você gastasse 250 dólares, eu poderia compensar sua inconveniência com créditos". WTH? Se estivéssemos pensando em nos juntar, nunca faríamos agora. Meu marido disse a ele que enviamos $ 1500 no resort hoje na boutique e spa! Nós nunca iremos voltar e teremos a certeza de contar a todos que conhecemos sobre nossa experiência.

Fuimos de luna de miel. Sandals está haciendo todo lo posible para garantizar que todos estén a salvo del covid. La comida, el personal y el ambiente fue fantástico. Went for our honeymoon. Sandals is doing everything they can to ensure everyone is safe from covid. The food, staff and environment was fantastic. The staff was very polite and did what they could to ensure we had a wonderful time. I look forward to going back to sandals Barbados in the near future.

We are extremely dissatisfied with the response to our complaint about the lack of housekeeping service in our room. It is our last day at the resort and we are leaving with a very bad taste in our mouths. It is our anniversary today and had massages at 4:00 pm, which were excellent, however, when we returned to our room at 6:00 pm, our room was not made up. We had no towels for showers and could not get an answer at housekeeping. We tried room service but the vm was full. We went to the front desk and was assured that someone would come immediately. Nobody ever arrived. We ended up having showers with pool towels. When we inquired again, we were again assured that it would be taken care of. It never happened and when my husband again went to the desk, the duty managers stated that if we were club members, he could help us! He went as far as to say “if you spent the &250, I could off set your inconvenience with credits.” WTH? If we were thinking of joining, we would never now. My husband told him that we sent $1500 on the resort today at the boutique and spa! We will never return and will be sure to tell everyone we know about our experience.

My husband and I both had 2 COVID tests, vaccine cards etc. Not only did they shoo us to our room to quarantine we had to call NUMEROUS times to see when we could be freed. Well a whole day and 1/2 later they freed is in the evening. It was a nightmare we were only there for 5 days. When we went to book restaurants for the rest of our short stay all the restaurants were booked and they could do nothing. We tried to make the best of our stay but so many things fell short. I will absolutely be back to Barbados but I will never give my money to Sandals resorts again. They way they treated us was pretty poor. The least they could have done after making us stay in our rooms was let us go to a nice restaurant or give us our money back for the 2 days lost. Nothing! I would say run the other way should you decide a Sandals resort. I can't wait until cruise lines are going again. The only great thing was these fruit tarts! They were amazing, compliments to the chef!

Just went for a week and had a fantastic time! Anyone looking to go note there are English plug sockets in the room which is great! To many restaurants to choose from as this and the neighbouring resort SandalsBarbados royal are basically one big resort and can use all the facilities at both.My only comment would be having booked the candle lit dinner on the beach to have better preparations than moving into the restaurant if it rained which was just my luck!Also US dollars used and priced in Barbados everywhere no need to get Barbados Dollars.

Tivemos uma estadia de uma semana em agosto de 2021, a equipe precisa trabalhar. Solicitou uma bebida três vezes ao longo de uma hora e trinta minutos. Um grupo de 12 pessoas querendo jogar vôlei de sinuca solicitou uma bola há mais de uma hora e um dos convidados decidiu ir pegar uma bola de vôlei nas redes de praia, em seguida, a equipe exigiu que ele devolvesse a bola para a praia e, finalmente, a equipe caminhou fui até uma sala que ficava a apenas 6 metros de distância do grupo de 12 e trouxe uma bola de vôlei para o jogo. Os veranistas pagam milhares de dólares para visitar e prestar serviços. Vá para um local diferente de sandálias. As máquinas da cafeteria normalmente não funcionam. O resort é lindo. Eu dou à equipe de jarda um 5 estrelas. O bife no pub inglês é melhor do que os bifes no Butches ... Estou comparando a nossa estadia a outros resorts 5 estrelas que visitamos. Ralph, o barman da noite, é incrível, dê um aumento ao homem. O gerente do pub inglês também precisa de um aumento. A group of 12 people wanting to play pool volleyball requested a ball over an hour past and one of the guests just decided to go grab a volleyball from the beach nets then the staff demanded him to return the ball back to the beach then finally staff walked over to a room that was only 20 feet away from the group of 12 and got them a volleyball for the game. Vacationers pay thousands of dollars to visit and service lacks. Go to a different sandals location. The coffee shop machines are normally not working. The resort is beautiful. I give the grounds crew a 5 Star. The steak at the English pub is better then the steaks at Butches.... I'm comparing our stay to other 5 Star resorts we visited. Ralph the night bar tender is Amazing give the man a raise. The English pub manager also needs a raise. Most staff seemed to hate their job or at least that was the vibe.

Absolutely beautiful beach and hotel. Sandals handled the logistics seamlessly; everything we wanted was within easy reach. Had a magnificent (and supremely relaxing) time.

Best. Trip. Ever.
I honestly don't know how people can have a bad time at Sandals Royal. They must be genuinely looking for ways to be unhappy. It'd be like complaining that the ocean is too clear.
We were just there on our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for anything different. Everything from the weather, the rooms, the service, the drinks the food - ALL of it was amazing.
I have to admit, the food choices and quality were the best we've ever had at a resort.
We had butler service with Sade and Archibald and wow did we luck out! They're both a dream team and took such amazing care of us from day one! Their level of service was incredible and they always had a smile on their face.
Actually, the entire staff there were all happy all the time. You could walk by a chef or someone cleaning a pool and they would stop to say hi to you as you passed by.
It was such an amazing experience and we can't wait to go back one day. It was very hard to leave to go home. It's definitely made us want to go to more Sandals resorts, too!

Sandals Royal Barbados is truly a five star resort. From the time you arrive at the airport until you are eacorted to your room you can taste the excellence they strive to obtain. This resort is an all inclusive. You don't need to do anything but relax and enjoy being pampered. The food is phenomenal at all of the restaurants. Sweet and Salty has ten different types of donuts to try. The steakhouses cannot be beat. You have two resorts next to each and get to share the services of each.

Beautiful place with excellent service. The locals are super friendly! Dinners are slow so a 7pm reservation seemed to work out the best. The resort is absolutely beautiful.

I went on a night pass and it was the best decision I ever made. The resort is so beautiful, the staff was nice, welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurants were amazing and the food was delicious. I recommend this resort to everyone to check out.

Great resort. Lots.of.restaurants and pools. The rooms were clean and nice. Can be a little.noisy depending on.where your room is situated. Weddings are commonplace daily. We enjoyed our.time here and would love to.come back
