We were right next to lions, huntings, birds, cheetahs, leopards, etc. Our outside breakfast was right by the river, and with the zebras running and modeling their beauty as we enjoyed omelets, pancakes, mimosas, etc. the under the stars was a dream. The nine of us were laughing and sharing memories while the lions were roaring and reminding us the beauty of the continent. Moses the head of dining made sure all of our requests where met. There was not one thing we asked for that they did not go above and beyond to exceed our expectations. The staff was amazing!! Everyone ready to answer all of our questions. The general manager made us all feel at home. When we parted ways this morning our hearts ached, because we actually felt at home. I will never find the words to describe such a magical place. One of our best trips ever! The whole team lead by Dominic is very welcoming and friendly the whole stay. Our Guide Alex is amazing at his job, always going the extra mile to make us happy. Hopefully we can go back and enjoy this experience once again, I would recommend this hotel 100%. ( The chef, waiters, housekeeping and security team are also outstanding)

Life changing experience. Everything from incredible staff, to decadent meals 3x per day, to staying in a beautiful & modern tent that is in the middle of an African safari. You will have access to big 5 animals and will even here them from your room all day (the hippos May keep you up at night!). Amazing that a true 5 star experience can be situated in the middle of such wilderness— truly a wonder. Special thanks to all staff members that did an impeccable job during our stay!

Being a constant visitor to the Mara of at least 2 - 3 times an year since 2010 and having stayed back at multiple properties, since 2016 we have never had to turn back and change our choice of residence in the Mara.Olare Mara Kempinski has indeed become our second home We were quite upset a few many many months ago when Chef David retired and the Camp Manager was replaced for the first we considered changing our holiday destination.Just a sheer luck of a call, we were advised that both Mr. Fairman Muhingi and Chef David returned was music to the years and we immediately confirmed our bookings pre covid-19. The return of these two individuals was indeed the best decision the Kempinski Management made. Fairman, is constantly found engaging the visitors, checking on them and their needs and of course their comfort.Always sharing their experiences. Fairman has a superb support team, Dominic who he is smoothly running the back scene operations to ensure there is minimum disruptions for the guests New additions we interacted this time is Kennedy (we fondly referred to him as Dr.) as he was ensuring full Covid protocols, safety requirements are being observed to ensure safety of staff and guests. Josephine the Massage therapist, she has magical fingers that work on you helping you unwind and put your back in place after the game drives which can indeed get bumpy We move onto the Hospitality staff - Moses, Kelvin,James, Gerald who are constantly around (not on your face giving you the privacy) to meet all your needs and expectations as you relax in the lobby or need something in your tent.They are so friendly and they understand your wants without you having to always ask for the same thing over and over again. Chef David and Team - there is some serious magic happening in the kitchen......the palettes are being constantly tantalized, his cuisine is not at all waist friendly, the team ensures every need, every food desire is met.Chef David engages the guests to check if they are okay, if they have any personal diet requirements or desires.Chef David and his team are always pulling out rabbits from their chef hats with magical dishes.........its traumatic when you return home to your normal cuisine everything else is tasteless!!! Team Housekeeping - Jackson and his team, they are so so nice and caring, tents are ever clean and well kept, when you return in the evening to tuck yourself the beds are warm with hot water bottles, they keep everything neat and tidy for you ....and always smiling never do you see a frown on their face when they have almost the most thankless job.Thank you Jackson and team - for your great work and last but not the least, what would the place be with out the Hawk Eyed and the Animal Whisper - Tour Guide Philip.He just takes his binoculars scans and bingo ANIMALS, we have never missed seeing the secretive Leopards, the playful Cheetahs the lazy Lions and the beautiful Herbivores and the old soul Elephants and etc.The team work happening between the guides is commendable and ensures every guest gets to see the animals -Thank you Team Olare Mara Kempinski, please do not change as you are simply awesome and hence the reason this place becomes our HOME AWAY FROM HOME and a place we can happily call our SECOND HOME and most importantly our aged Mum is so well looked after and her needs are well attended to and every one is so so patient - Thank you Team

Siendo un visitante constante de Mara de al menos 2 o 3 veces al año desde 2010 y habiendo permanecido en varias propiedades, desde 2016 nunca hemos tenido que regresar y cambiar nuestra elección de residencia en Mara. Olare Mara Kempinski se ha convertido de hecho en nuestro segundo hogar Estábamos bastante molestos hace algunos meses cuando el chef David se retiró y el gerente del campamento fue reemplazado por la primera vez que consideramos cambiar nuestro destino de vacaciones. Por pura suerte de una llamada, nos informaron que tanto el Sr. Fairman Muhingi como el Chef David regresaron a la música de los años e inmediatamente confirmamos nuestras reservas antes del covid-19. El regreso de estas dos personas fue de hecho la mejor decisión que tomó la dirección de Kempinski. Fairman, se encuentra constantemente atrayendo a los visitantes, controlando sus necesidades y, por supuesto, su comodidad. Siempre compartiendo sus experiencias. Fairman tiene un excelente equipo de apoyo, Dominic, quien está ejecutando sin problemas las operaciones de backstage para garantizar que haya interrupciones mínimas para los invitados. El chef David y su equipo siempre están sacando conejos de sus sombreros de chef con platos mágicos ... ¡es traumático cuando regresas a casa con tu cocina normal, todo lo demás es de mal gusto! Equipo de limpieza: Jackson y su equipo son tan amables y atentos, las carpas están siempre limpias y bien cuidadas, cuando regresa por la noche para acomodarse, las camas están calientes con bolsas de agua caliente, mantienen todo limpio y ordenado para usted. .... y siempre sonriendo nunca ves un ceño fruncido en su rostro cuando tienen casi el trabajo más ingrato. Gracias Jackson y su equipo, por su gran trabajo. y por último, pero no menos importante, cuál sería el lugar sin Hawk Eyed y Animal Whisper - Tour Guide Philip.
