“I understand the historic appeal, but I was surprised to find that some of the furnishing in the room, such as the rug and curtains, still looked liked they were from the 80s. The a/c also turned off when it was not actively cooling (instead of switching to a fan setting), so it made the room feel very stuffy. The pillows in my room were also way too soft.
It's not awful, but there are so many other better choices in the area. Staff was nice and gym was surprisingly up-to-date.”

“Can't go wrong with this location. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.
The room was just okay. The walls and doors are thin so you clearly hear your neighbors and people walking in the hall which resulted in being woken at 130am to returning guests. The AC kept the room nice and cool but there was no option to leave the fan running when the AC is off which would have helped drown out ambient sounds. The shower was nice and hot but provided little pressure and the head was very low so prepare to bend over if you are tall.
Ultimately you are really just paying for the location.”
