“The Grand Floridian Resort is in my opinion the best resort for a family stay at Walt Disney World. The resort has its own monorail stop accessible from the second floor of the resort. The first stop is the Magic Kingdom park which is across the lake from the resort. You can enjoy the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom and the parade on the lake from the resort. There is also a boat service from the Magic Kingdom to the resort. The bus stop at the resort makes it easy to get to the other parks. I always enjoy my stay at the Grand Floridian. There are great restaurants at the resort including a type of convenience store. There is a nice walkway along the lake connecting the resort to the Magic Kingdom and the Polynesian Resort. The resort itself are very clean and well kept. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The Grand Floridian Resort offers a relaxing, family friendly atmosphere with the convenience of being moments away from the Disney parks and attractions. Bottom line, is this is by far my preferred resort!”

“It's no wonder that this is the crown jewel of Walt Disney World's resorts! It is gorgeous, luxurious and right across the lagoon from Magic Kingdom! The rooms, lobby, pools, spas and transportation are all amazing. Great amenities. And we love Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare. We usually go for the character breakfast! The restaurant is beautiful and whimsical! Like being in Mary Poppins, complete with Merry Go Round horses! It is definitely one of the most expensive resorts but even if you can't afford to stay here, take advantage of dining at one of their amazing restaurants. It is worth every penny!”
