“This was my second time in Istanbul, and I specifically chose to return to the Sheraton in Istanbul city center. The service is outstanding, and the staff is very responsive to all requests. I had emailed them the week before asking for an extra bed on a specific day, and even though I forgot to remind them on that day, I came to see the room fully prepared. Their breakfast buffet is also very generous, and room cleaning and quality control is top notch. My only complaint would be that the rooms are a little noisy because of the street below.”

“Avoid this hotel at all costs. Much like others have written: The walls are paper thin. You will hear anything and everything from the room next to you. It was so bad, I had to request to move rooms at 11pm on the first night. Now my new room is next to a crying baby. I get that happens. But again, because the walls are so thin, it’s like the baby is in my room. And every time someone opens a door, it literally shakes your room. I also agree with comments about the breakfast. It seriously lacks for an alleged ‘five star’ hotel. You can find much better in Istanbul. Don’t stay here.”
