This is by far one of the worse Hilton hotels. The hotel is terrible from the parking garage to the front desk. The showers have mildew. The furniture is dusty and soiled. Bed linen is wrinkled and soiled. Upon arrival to the front desk two gentlemen were standing behind the desk talking and laughing, my husband and I had to ask who wanted to be bothered with helping us; no response. I am a Diamond member and we were placed in a small cramped room, and the door knob/lock was jammed. Back to the guy at the front desk, he continued to ask what time we were leaving at the end of our stay. We were later informed the hotel would be closing the elevators. The food at the hotel is gross. Bugs flying around the bar area. All of the staff act as though it's an imposition for guest to arrive or approach. The river view room was terrible. This hotel does not have a club lounge for Gold or Diamond members. This place does not have to worry about me ever again. I stayed at Holiday Inn and the rooms/service was better. This hotel is dated, nothing new or modern. I would like to thank Trenisha; the only kind and sensible person working at the front desk. This is the only reason I gave a score of two stars

Room was clean and beds comfortable. Room service can be a little light, but they always brought fresh towels. Hotel feel big with accompanying long walks. The location is quite central and near convention center. But, beware of it be "next door" it is a long walk walk in heat/humidity pr go through the river walk mall. Either way... it's a hike.

Update: almost a full 5 weeks later, the refund was issued (via the financial dept - could not say why it took so long). Another full week and the employee finally has his money back. They also said "our phones have been on the fritz" as an explanation for the call issues during and after my stay (and mentioned in other reviews). Still would not recommend after the hassle and experience during my stay. Stayed here for a conference in May 2022, and experienced a lot of issues with the hotel itself as well as billing. First, I had a room service order for a burger that was delivered raw and resulted in two attempted recooks, with the first recook also being raw (two raw burgers in a row) and completely unsafe to eat. Front desk refused to answer the phone or assist when I went down, and had to repeatedly ask for a manager to address my issue before they would even attempt a recook. Spoke with 4 different people and only one (the bell desk attendant) were actually polite. We also filled the necessary paperwork to ensure the company card was used to cover all employee / conference attendees stays and they still charged personal cards. 1 month later one employee is still waiting on his refund, with 3 inquiries and no response (phone or email). They have successfully charged the company card so there is no reason a refund has not been issued to our employee. Lastly, the rooms (both hotel and conference) are not well kept. Outdated and very old / raggedy bedding, and the air was not working in one of the conference rooms they provided. Floors were extremely dirty and hair was found in the sheets before we had even slept in it. Overall this was not up to any Hilton standards and not at all worth the cost. Absolutely do not stay here.

This is an awesome hotel. Customer service was number one. From the moment of our arrival until our departure, every aspect of our stay was excellent. As busy as everyone was, I was made to feel like my family and I were the only ones that matter. Our stay was made to feel personalized. The food was delicious and of course loving the connection from the hotel to the River Walk shopping center. This is my third trip to New Orleans and this is the only hotel that I will stay in. The river view each morning was breathtaking. I can’t wait for my next visit.

Not recommended! Poor communication, rude service, and the gym is NOT free. We stayed here for 4 nights during a conference. Beforehand, I called to confirm our booking and the agent canceled one of our nights without being asked to do so. It took several call-center managers and 90 minutes on the phone to get it back. Upon arrival, the check-in clerk was unfriendly and difficult to understand in the loud space. Housekeeping never showed up even though we requested it at check-in. Their website doesn't explain that the fitness room costs $12 per day unless you're a upper-level Honors member (not the free, basic membership), and they didn't tell us that until after we'd gotten up early and trudged all the way up and down elevators and across the hotel. Then they still didn't tell us they can't accept cash for gym access...and by that point, we didn't have time to work out anyway. Our room was decent, except for the loud bathroom fan that ran constantly, even with the light off. The river view was nice, but the staff was just rude, rude, rude. They really need to learn to communicate accurate information with guests and other staff. I definitely wouldn't come back. The Intercontinental half a mile up the street was fabulous -- go there instead.

Attended a conference here. On the afternoon of 3/21/22 the young woman working at the sundry shop (I think "All That Jazz") was extremely helpful. Needed glue for my shoe sole and they were out, but she reported that for that reason she brought not 1 but 3 kinds of super glue with her! She not only let me use the glue but also cleared stuff off a low display shelf to clear a work area. The second type of glue did the job. Excellent service!!

The city view is amazing! We stayed on the 21st floor the room has floor to ceiling window wall that just captivates with the New Orleans city lights at night! Just stunning! We ordered room service and it was delicious the seafood pasta, Cajun baked catch was amazing enough for two with each order, comes with everything you could want! The prices are commensurate with local restaurants so was surprised with pricing not being overly expensive for Hotel room service! The valet guys are very courteous and prompt! Overall excellent service and amenities! I give it A++! I will only stay here from now on when visiting New Orleans!

Stayed for 4 nights for a business convention. I'm impressed by the professional courteous demeanor of all the staff. During my stay I had interaction with the front desk for a safe deposit box which is free, concierge, conference room staff and serving staff in the exhibit hall, room service and maintenance. Everyone was kind and respectful. Room service didn't cost an arm and a leg.I utilized 2 times for dinner and both were under $30. And I had a cool view of the river from my window. I definitely recommend this hotel.

El personal es excelente, esta lejos de la parada de autobús que se usa mucho en Nueva Orleans pero de verdad puedes caminar a todos lados!, el hotel es limpio y el personal es excelente! Esta pegado a una plaza comercial que ofrece muchísimas cosas, entre ellas los bignets de café du monde, el único detalle sería que aún no me regresan el deposito de 100 dlrs que me cobraron 😥 pero han pasado 10 días esperemos pronto se regrese.

En general, me quedé con una buena impresión del hotel. Se ve limpio, moderno, funcional, cómodo y muy amplio. Habitaciones espaciosas y con todo lo indispensable para hacer de tu estancia un momento agradable. Conexión wifi tanto en éstas como en las áreas sociales. Por Covid 19, cerrada la piscina y los restaurantes. El desayuno tenía la particularidad de que consistía en tickets por un monto determinado en dólares, los cuales canjeabas en caja por los productos envasados (salvo la fruta) que ibas tomando de las góndolas precedentes. De haber diferencia, se pagaba aparte. Lo bueno que podías tomar tu desayuno en las mesitas dispuestas en este sector, aunque los pocos pasajeros que vi lo llevaban a sus habitaciones (una práctica muy común entre los mismos norteamericanos).

They are located in a great spot with the outlets on one side, the convention center next door, aquarium and casino across the street, and just a few blocks from Bourbon Street. The health club(gym) is top notch with racquetball courts and very good equipment. The only downside is that the train tracks are active unless you enjoy the train horns in your sleep.

When we first arrived we were put in rooms in the lower side of the hotel but unfortunately one of the rooms had a pretty bad noise with the A/C and they immediately gave us a different room which I honestly couldn't locate. When I called in for help on locating it, they very kindly moved me to the main tower and the rooms were great with incredible views. The customer service was amazing and the hotel was in an excellent location. Would definitely stay again in the future
