“Hot. Very hot. The staff was nice, friendly, and made good suggestions for dinner and accommodations for trains and taxis and the like. The problem was the room temperature. It was 25C+ degrees the entire time. We asked over and over and over and over to turn the temperature down in the room and it never got below 24C. It was warm for Florence in late May so to return from warm to a room that was stale and warm made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. You don't have control of your air conditioning in the room and must ask the staff to change it. In the mornings (20C) the heat would be on in the hotel. Made no sense. I would have given 4 or 5 stars if not for the heat”
