“Let me just say if I could give the hotel zero stars I would. I booked a week vacation with my family at the grand Hyatt and booked and all inclusive package with the hotel. When I arrived to the hotel they told me that I did not have an all inclusive package and that the reason my confirmation said all inclusive was because the name of the hotel was grand Hyatt all inclusive package. I called the hotel prior to my arrival to confirm the all inclusive package and was told my stay was all inclusive. This is a scam the hotel has with the adds stating all inclusive but it’s not true. The day we checked out i asked for my luggage so my two year old daughter could change because she was wet from the pool and they refused to give me my luggage because we had to check out. I asked the hotel staff yo please give me my bags several times so I could put a diaper on for my daughter they refused to give me the luggage. Don’t stay at this resort at all and if you do pay for the all inclusive like I did please know the staff is hesitant to take your order because they are not getting a tip. The all incisive package is supposed to include all tips and charges.”

“My wife and I have been to Cancun for business meetings before, and had an overall good experience. As such, she booked the best room and had high expectations for this visit, once again for business meetings. Wow! Hard to describe just how awful this experience turned out to be. Arrived a bit late, so called to order room service from an extremely small menu with virtually no heathy options (she was here for meetings on health and wellness). Room service was technically still available (closes at 11 pm - compared to all night where we stayed before - and could order these amazing fruit trays at 3 in the morning and eat them with delight as we lay in bed discussing the adventures of the day). So she called the front desk - no answer. So she went to the front desk and they told her to call room service - she explained that she already had, with no answer. Eventually she got some food. In the morning she went for breakfast - was treated with a rudeness that was almost incomprehensible. Decided to return to her room for the poor choices being offered. Ongoing disappointment after disappointment!!! Next morning had a similar experience with the restaurant, only this time she was told that room service had ended at 11 the night before. She called and asked for coffee and water, which she was promised. 15 minutes later she called again - promised again. This continued, with nothing. She found a housekeeper and asked for water, and got screamed at - NO, SHE COULD NOT HAVE WATER! Finally the coffee came, but still no water. Called again. Did get the water after how long? Extremely poor, rude, unprofessional service. By the way, maybe it was fortunate that she didn't eat at the restaurant for breakfast, as several of her colleagues who did eat at the restaurant got FOOD POISONING!!!! She paid an exorbitant rate for an upscale room, and was treated like trash!!!!!”
